  1. Both the Hyatts at Dania Pointe are great. Tons of nice restaurants within walking distance
  2. In Miami, passport holders and BC go in two separate lines. Passport holders can go in the Birth certificate line but birth certificate holders can not go into the Passport line.
  3. Aft extended by a Nautical mile. I saw more whales on an aft balcony than on a side balcony.
  4. Yes, the casino $200 Deposit/$200 OBC count because you are paying cruise fare, just getting it back.
  5. DOUE starts as soon as you find the first bar out of POM
  6. Yes, the amount you prepaid will show as a credit. I guess it is because people add on to their services onboard so you are basically buying a "spa credit".
  7. Yes, after your treatment, they will charge the 18% tip. They also will both charge your S&S for the service and apply your prepaid credit to your account, leaving just the tip in place. That takes a day or so but check.
  8. Just don't hit pay until the numbers are right
  9. I don't see it listed as Accessible There is no wheelchair icon. Like this
  10. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/ships/stateroom-details.php?ship=Carnival-Vista&cabin=7333
  11. Contact https://www.carnival.com/about-carnival/special-needs This page also lists the four types of cabins considered accessible
  12. I was only able to do certain times
  13. These discounts may only apply to specific items and at specific times.
  14. Your source? Missing a boat isn't an emergency. Being sick or injured isn't an emergency. Exceptions are not made for individual travelers who choose to travel outside the US without a passport unless they can physically present themselves at a US Border. No airline will accept a passenger without means to enter the US. Thus why you need to present your passport at the airport both at entry and at boarding. The designated US Consulate information is in the FunTimes and known to Port officials. If the US Consulate isn't close to the port, I am pretty sure they will give to instructions on your next step but they are your only source of assistance. Delta Airlines isn't going to ask you some extra questions and put you on their plane.
  15. Is there a reason the US Consulate would post false information?
  16. And as I posted the US Consulate has an emergency number. If you truly believe anyone can get get a "waiver" to fly to the US, why would they need a passport to travel inside another country? Also, there is more than one way to travel. Neither the US Consulate nor a foreign government is responsible for someone's failure to follow their recommendations. So, why in the thread, I posted the person wasn't given this "waiver"?
  17. Boat and car but why would you need a passport to fly inside a country?
  18. Consular Presence The United States maintains no official presence in St. Kitts and Nevis. A U.S. consular agent residing in nearby Antigua, however, assists U.S. citizens in St. Kitts and Nevis. U.S. EMBASSY TO BARBADOS, ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA, DOMINICA, GRENADA, SAINT KITTS AND NEVIS, SAINT LUCIA, AND SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES-https://bb.usembassy.gov/contact/#emergencies There is always a US Consular agent in countries where cruise ships visit.
  19. There is a Consulate in the every country and you are required to present yourself there in person.
  20. Except that isn't accurate. You would be required to obtain an emergency passport before returning, requiring you to travel to the Consulate.
  21. Look at a site like cruisedeckplans and they will tell you. I think the Carnival deck plans also notes which is which
  22. To be clear, what we are calling travel constipation resolves itself (sometimes within minutes thus home court advantage theory) when you return home without dietary changes and we all aren't cruise overeaters as implied.
  23. Try twice a day...once in am, once at night.
