Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We recently enjoyed a Canary Islands cruise on QE (Nov/Dec 23) and are considering booking a Norwegian Fjords cruise on Queen Anne in August this year. We are thinking of taking our son and his family with us this time My concern is whether Cunard is suitable for teenagers (2 boys aged 15 and 18). Are there likely to be many teenagers on board and are there any teenager specific activities organised? The cruise is in the main school holiday period. The recent cruise was very much adult only (just a couple of pre-schoolers). Has anyone experienced Cunard with teenagers in the summer holiday period? Views on Cunard for teenagers? Many thanks in advance.
  2. Sunset from our starboard balcony. Enjoying our first cruise on QV -all good so far. Zumba Gold class today was excellent.
  3. Hi. Presently on Ovation on our first cruise which incidentally is going great. The welcome bottle of champagne and in bars etc seems universally Montaudon which is fine by us.
  4. So interested to read your reports Mr Fudge - sorry to hear about the wrist but hope it does not curtail your activities too much. We are on the same itinerary cruise from 18th February, also flying Virgin from London Heathrow (not business class though, alas!). The quotes for upgrade we received were eye-watering - UK pensioners here so all a bit gloom and doom on the finance front. It is our first Seabourn cruise, previously cruised with Azamara, Cunard and Celebrity. I intend to do a daily report when onboard, wifi permitting, from a first-timer perspective. Fingers crossed you were able to tender to Bequia today - we visited there some years ago and loved it. Look forward to hearing your updates.
