That’s not an optical illusion. The cabin is on the outer edge of the sphere so one side of our balcony is deeper than the other. I imagine there’s a slight curve to all the balconies on sphere cabins but not as significant as those on the outer edges.

Hi, cbfb! We just boarded a few hours ago and I didn't want to forget to send you pictures of 14433 on Sun Princess. The ship is gorgeous and our cabin has TONS of storage space including closets, drawers, and shelves. Also, lots of electrical outlets and USB ports! Big balcony and spacious bathroom, too. I think you're gonna love it! Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll try to answer.

To celebrate our 30th anniversary in June 2020, we booked a Mediterranean cruise. Along comes COVID and boom, cruise cancelled. We rebooked our long-delayed Med Cruise in Spring 2023 aboard the Sun Princess. We were careful to allow a few sailings between the inaugural cruise and our cruise (March 19) so that Princess had time to work out any kinks with the ship or service. Now, I'm not sure if I'm more worried about our cruise getting cancelled or sailing aboard a ship that has issues or provides a mediocre experience. Unfortunately, we're all in the same boat!

Can anyone help me understand this? When I clicked on About for Sun Princess Horizons Dining Room Deck 7 on the app, it says: "All food and beverage, including cover charges, are subject to an 18% service charge which will be added to your check." I thought Horizon Dining Room was included in our cruise fare?
