  1. That's great to know! Thanks very much. I was hoping that would be the case. 🙂 amcb
  2. Hi all. We are a family of 5, all vaccinated except our youngest who will be 10 when we sail. We are sailing on Navigator, a b2b from Dec 20-31st. It is my understanding that unvaccinated passengers must take a ship sponsored excursion. At this point, there are a number of ports where there are no ship excursions available for someone under 12. Do you think more excursions will be made available as it gets closer to sailing? I would appreciate everyone's thoughts. 🙂 amcb
  3. Wow! That's wonderful. That will make them really happy. 🙂
  4. Does that include kids? DH and I, and all 3 of our kids (15,13, 10) are all Diamond Plus. So if we wanted to book Chops, for instance, we would get charged for 3 people instead of 5? Or would we all pay for Chops and then get to go to another restaurant on a different day for free? It's always confusing to understand which benefits apply to the kids. Thanks very much! 🙂 amcb
  5. Definitely following along. We board next Saturday! 🙂 amcb
  6. We also had the Nevis excursion booked and just received notice of the cancellation.
  7. Great to know about being able to order large bottles of San Pellegrino at dinner. DH and I enjoy sparkling water so it's great to know it's available around the ship!
  8. You bet! I will do my best to take notes and report back. 🙂 amcb
  9. That sounds wonderful and answers the question I was just about to ask. We are on Summit in a week and a half and I wasn't sure if it was too much to ask for an appetizer from Blu or MDR and entree from Luminae or vice versa. It sounds like on the Millennium class ships it's very doable. 🙂 amcb
  10. How did they handle excursions? We are booked on Summit in a week and have prebooked all our excursions through the Celebrity. Did they give you a decent amount of notice? 🙂 amcb
  11. So have they actually streamlined the testing to just be one test? Or is it still unclear? 🙂 amcb
  12. Yep. That's what I'm seeing too. I was hoping for someone with real life experience. We're going to end up doing two tests. Which just makes me wonder whether it makes sense to just do the second one in St. Maarten.
  13. Has anyone used CVS for their test? If so, what is the turnaround like? We have a late flight Thursday and I was hoping a Wednesday test would work for both St. Maarten and Celebrity. But it only works with a quick turnaround.
  14. I asked my travel agent the exact same question yesterday!!
  15. Oh boy. This is getting even more confusing! But I really appreciate you trying to clarify! 🙂 amcb
  16. This is a great question. It would make things much easier if Celebrity would simply come out with a statement as to whether or not they will accept the Walgreens NAAT test. 🙂 amcb
  17. That's so bizarre. I'm on my computer now. Rebooted and still not showing up. But it is consistent with the email I received. Both say 72 hours before arrival in St. Maarten for the test so hopefully one will suffice for both entrance requirements and Celebrity! Thanks again! 🙂 amcb
  18. I was trying to double check the information for testing requirements since I keep getting conflicting information in the emails I'm receiving. Anyone have any information about this? Thanks in advance, 🙂 amcb
  19. Hopefully we will get clarity! From an email I received from Celebrity this morning (bolding was provided in the email): "• All visitors must present a negative naso-pharyngeal RT-PCR test results taken within 72 hours prior to departure. US and Canadian visitors have the option of presenting an antigen test taken 48 hours prior to departure however, Celebrity Cruises recommends that guests complete an RT-PCR 72 hours prior to arrival to St. Maarten in order to meet both government and Celebrity requirements. Be sure to bring a printed copy. Name on test results must match those on government issued identification." and also "• All guests must present a negative RT-PCR test taken 72 hours prior to arrival to St. Maarten. Name on test results must match those on government issued identification." It seems as if they are trying to make it so that only one test is required that will serve both for entrance into St. Maarten and also for boarding purposes. I hope that is the case. 🙂 amcb
  20. Thanks for the feedback! Also about Le Petit Chef. We're on the fence about whether it's worth it. If we were traveling with our kiddos, we'd do it in a heartbeat. Not sure DH and I will enjoy it as much. Also if you could let me know how the hair products are in the suite, l would really appreciate it. If I can avoid having to bring my shampoo and conditioner that would be a win for me!
  21. That's wonderful news! Can you tell me how the sail away was? We usually have a champagne toast as we sail away before getting ready for dinner, but we've never had a late sail away. Did leaving so late diminish the experience at all? 🙂 amcb
  22. Exciting to hear from someone on Summit. We will be cruising on Summit in 3 weeks also in a sky suite. How are Luminae and the Retreat Lounge? 🙂 amcb
