  1. Since that is probably the only nationally broadcast game on at that time slot, good chance that will be the game shown.
  2. True and it applies to veterans and active duty but not necessarily available on all itineraries or stateroom categories.
  3. The retreat sun deck on silhouette is on both deck 15 and 16. I just got off silhouette last month, I don’t recall seeing a way to get to deck 16 other than stairs. The previous post would seem to verify that.
  4. I was wondering why that other thread got locked. I guess I don’t know what violates the COVID discussion policy because I don’t remember seeing anything that I thought was out of line.
  5. I hear what you are saying but the pre-cruise testing is not preventing Covid from getting on board anyway. I feel just the opposite. I won’t book another cruise until the requirement to test is ended. The stress of worrying about getting that negative test is just too great for me.
  6. The Elite 90 minutes is not all at one time. When you log out, the clock stops counting until you log back in. You can spread that 90 minutes over as many days as you want.
  7. The only other thing you might want is if you have Celebrity transfers booked. There would be a page in your edocs for them. Even that doesn’t really need to be printed.
  8. I really meant during the nightly cocktail event. I would expect the coffee machine to get the normal draw.
  9. From what I’m hearing, since the change to the Diamond drink benefit, no one hangs out in the Diamond Lounge anymore.
  10. You get the equivalent of what a single 24 hour period would cost. You should use one of the 24 hour free periods first, then use the other discount for buying the remaining days.
  11. Agree with the above. It’s not worth it purely for the Platinum benefits. It’s only worth it if you want to cruise.
  12. It kind of depends on the airline. Some allow picking seats before being ticketed, like United, some don’t. I had an international flight going via United, returning via American. I was able to select seats on United as soon as I had the record indicator, American wouldn’t let me until I was ticketed.
  13. It should happen automatically within a day or two of final payment but may not. When my tickets still weren’t issued 5 days after final payment, I called and found the system had not requested ticketing. The agent manually requested ticketing and it was complete within an hour.
  14. We are veteran Royal cruisers and we tried NCL for the first time earlier this year. There are more similarities than differences but we enjoyed our cruise on NCL Bliss as much as any Royal cruise we’ve done. I would gladly try NCL again.
  15. Celebrity does not have a reputation of a “booze cruise” type of cruise line but with short cruises, anything is possible.
  16. Confusing for sure but it worked for us. When I launched my test directly at emed.com, it asked if I wanted to share results with Navica and let me enter my Navica account credentials. When the test was complete, I got my emailed results from emed and electronically through the Navica app.
  17. A Navica account is not required.
  18. Provided your Captain’s Club accounts are linked. If they aren’t linked, just call the Captain’s Club to have them linked.
  19. Ok, already. I was wrong. But that’s a 15 yard penalty for piling on. 😀
  20. I guess that would mean 37 days is too early. Both my wife and I got our 2nd booster May 4. We sailed June 11, 14 day cruise. We tested positive after returning home June 25th. I guess you also wouldn’t want to get that second booster to close to the cruise either and risk a positive pre-cruise covid test due to the booster.
  21. Not from getting covid. The protection is hopefully minor to no symptoms and not requiring hospitalization.
  22. They may or may not appear. Apparently this has been an issue on many cruises. I just came off a cruise a week ago, my edocs and luggage tags didn’t show up until 3 days before sailing. Others on my cruise never got them.
  23. Seems to be a common problem lately. I just completed a cruise and didn’t get edocs/luggage tags until 3 days before sailing. I was just planning on having my luggage tagged at the pier when they finally showed up. Others on the same cruise reported never getting them.
  24. I’m 5 days out from sailing and no edocs or luggage tags. Apparently this has been an issue for many cruisers on many cruises. That probably is the reason so many cruisers were lined up to tag their luggage in Vancouver as noted by the previous poster. Bottom line, you might not get edocs or luggage tags but generally they are produced 2-3 weeks out. If you don’t get them, as noted the ported will tag your bags at check in.
