  1. If paying cash, can a couple share one $34.99 Prix Fixe @ Izumi? When we were on the UDP on Odyssey we went there several times and it was too much food if we each got one. We would be ordering one rice and two rolls anyway so it is a better deal to order one Prix Fixe than those items separately. We are sailing on a B4B on Allure starting Sunday. We will not be on the UDP this time. We are planning on using our D+ BOGOs at other specialties and were curious if sharing at Izumi was allowed. Thanks! Jess
  2. I just got the same letter for my Odyssey one I should have received in September.
  3. We are sailing on Allure 10/31, 11/8, 11/14 & 11/21. I am looking forward to hearing about your experience onboard. Hopefully you won't experience the issues that others have had this week.
  4. You probably did see it. They let me book an 8 night on the Odyssey with my 2021 tier credit and should not have. They are not exactly known for consistency. 😂
  5. I have been looking and have not been able to find any that will mail. If you know someone in the US you could ship it there and they could mail it to you? Have you checked Shoppers? I thought they were doing rapid antigen tests at some locations for $40
  6. Wow, we were there a few weeks ago on Odyssey and it was no where near that crowded. No social distancing anymore I guess?
  7. Is Ontario not providing testing at no cost if you need it for Travel? They are here n NB.
  8. I am Canadian and recently travelled on the Odyssey and will be sailing on Oct 31 on the Allure. When we sailed on the Odyssey, it was still the three day rule. We flew on Saturday and sailed on Sunday. We could have gotten one test on Thursday that covered both but the province had us get a test Wednesday and Thursday just in case the Thursday test did not get back in time for our Saturday flight. For our October 31 Allure cruise, which is also on a Sunday, we are flying down on Saturday again. This means we need a test no earlier than Wednesday for the flight (3 days) and Friday for the cruise (2 days). We COULD get PCR tests on Wednesday and Friday and hope that the Friday results come in before Sunday, but with the surge in cases here, testing is busier and the results are taking too long to come in. That is too much risk for us so we have made an appoint for Friday at a place in Fredericton that does rapid antigen tests. They are $90pp. It is an added cost for the trip, but worth the piece on mind. If you will be flying down more than 1 day before your cruise, you will need to find somewhere local in Fort Lauderdale. Sorry I do not have any suggestions on that piece - I am sure others will chime in!
  9. No sorry I didn’t 😕 We are on Allure starting 10/31-11/27 so I hope it is the same. It is great for keeping in touch with home.
  10. I paid $8.49 for my 8/22 sailing on the Odyssey
  11. I failed to mention earlier that the messaging "glitch" is active on this ship. We were able to iMessage each other onboard as well as people at home, even when we were were not on paid wifi. We could not send photos, just text.
  12. They delivered paper copies of the next day's compass to the cabin every evening. You could also get paper copies at Guest Services
  13. For the most part it was no problem but I would recommend booking Northstar and iFly as soon as you board as those filled up quickly. The shows were no issue.
  14. Does MCO offer a shuttle service for a fee or would I need to book through a shuttle company?
  15. Thanks. I had sent an email yesterday morning when I noticed it but did not receive a response. When I called the first time last night they said there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they said sure then disconnected my call (I am assuming it was an accident, but who knows). I called right back and got someone else. I had to explain the issue 5 times and eventually they understood. They said they would book the reservation I wanted as “pending” and send it up the food chain to make sure I qualified for the offers. If I did not, they said I would immediately owe the balance (sail date is Oct 31). I explained that I 100% qualify and if they did not allow us to use the offers, we would cancel and expect our money back . They tried to get me to pay the full $500 deposit but our balance should only have been $340 after the offers so I asked that I only be required to pay that amount to hold the reservation and they accepted. They said it would take a day or two to get the offers applied, if they could be. When I checked this morning, the offers are back on the site. I am not sure if that is a result of my email, the phone calls, or if it was just a glitch that has now been corrected. I will be calling shortly to make sure the offers get applied. I don’t want it to get forgotten.
  16. Has anyone else had instant reward certs disappear from their account? We just did a B2B2B on Odyssey and just tried to book a cruise using the $$ off certs we earned on the last sailing. They were on the clubroyaleoffers site yesterday (we had 3 each) and now only 1 is there and of course it is not the one we want to use. I am on the phone with them now and they cannot find it and are saying we don’t have other offers. We never got the paper copies from the 9/5 sailing but it was 100% on the site yesterday
  17. I had confirmed before this trip with Michael Bayley's and RCL's FB that they would be offering PCR tests for Canadian residents returning home. The answer was yes. The Diamond Concierge on the Sept 5 cruise made the arrangements for us. We had the PCR test Thursday afternoon for a Saturday flight. There are more details in post #344 of the process we went through for the PCR test. We are booked on a B2B2B on Allure in November too - November 8th, 14th & 21st. What are your B2B2B dates? We are also booked on the November 2-7 sailing of the Oasis but are thinking of switching to the Oct 31-Nov 7 sailing of the Allure instead. I will be reaching out to RCL closer to sailing to make sure the PCR test is still offered and covered.
  18. If the bar was somewhere that was vaccinated only, you could sit there (Boleros, Casino, etc)
  19. Here are the Cruise Compasses that I brought home to post later as well as some other documents including Diamond Plus coupon letter, B2B and Departure procedures and some other items. I may have posed some of these earlier but wanted to post them again so they are all together. As far as cruise planners go, think I am only missing Day 1 from the 6 night cruise on 8/22. 20. We did not have any concerns. The air conditioning worked just fine and when the curtains were closed it was very dark.
  21. More yummy drinks from the Sunshine Jar. Planter's Punch And then hubby showed up with his order. He ordered a Miami Vice and the bartender made too much so he got two! Bottom's up! Gentleman's Sidecar and Proscecco from Schooner
