  1. We are also booked for the Pacific Coastal cruise, Sept. 2021. We have sailed on the Equinox and really enjoyed it so hoping to enjoy the Millennium. We booked an Aqua cabin on deck 11. I've read positive reviews after the Revolution of the ship. Hoping the COVID issues have died down by then. We will be more than ready after cancelling our July 2020 cruise.
  2. We moved from a Veranda cabin to an Aqua cabin on deck 11, cabin 1118. I noted the balcony seems a bit larger and we are in hopes to have a lounger added. Anyone stay in this cabin that can express an opinion? We sure would appreciate any feedback. Thank you !! Banks from OKC
  3. I spoke with someone around noon. Upgraded to an Aqua cabin. They answered immediately.
  4. After cancelling our July cruise we booked a pacific coastal for next year. Would love some comments from anyone who has sailed this area. Los Angeles to San Francisco to Monterey to Catalina to Ensenada. We have a lot of research to do 😊
  5. Thanks everyone ~ I kinda knew what the responses would be and I don't mind kids, just wondering. We will spend a lot of time in the solarium since it will be hot hot hot in July 😎
  6. Mayleeman ~ Thank you so much !!
  7. What about the widow of retired military ? We just booked a cruise and a friend, who is a retired military widow was given the discount. She was told to bring the military ID card with her to present at embarkation. I hope the Celebrity agent was correct when giving her this discount.
  8. We just booked an anniversary cruise for July 26th (our 29th anniversary) and wonder the kid ratio for the ship. We went in December and there were very few kids on board. I know it's close to the end of the summer break and expect more kids on board but wonder if anyone has sailed during that time of year and can comment. Thanks so much !!
  9. What about purchasing a VISA gift card and using it for the deposit ? Would that work ? I'm glad I saw this post as we plan to go to Mr. Sanchos in December.
  10. We got our email from AmEx this week regarding the membership increase, which I think is quite substantial !! We enjoy using the SkyLounge and will probably shell out the extra $10 bucks if we have a multi hour wait at the airport. We generally let our points build up and use them for our cruise flights. Maybe we will look into other travel cards after our cruise this year because the membership increase really is ridiculous !
  11. That's wonderful news !! We are cruising Dec. 14th and I wasn't happy about the "missing" footstools. Hubby has double knee replacements and needs to have his feet up quite a bit. So happy about this news.
  12. I am sooooo enjoying your live review !! My husband and I sail in December in an AQ cabin also. We have one on the hump and are hoping for an actual lounger (fingers crossed). These "bathroom footstools" are crazy ! I can't believe the actual footstools were all removed. NO ONE is happy about it. Anywhoooo ~ I've enjoyed your meal reviews with pics. We have booked the Tuscan Grille and Murano for a couple nights. Looking forward to that. This will be our 15th cruise but first with Celebrity. Thank you so much for your insight. Looking forward to your next installment ~ Cindy
  13. We have been told by our travel agent the California Coastal cruises have pretty rough seas. Would like some comments from experienced cruisers who have given it a try. We've done multiple Caribbean cruises and cruised NCL out of Hawaii. We are ready for something different and I've never been to California and would like to possibly give it a try. Thanks so much for any input.
  14. Thank you for the wonderful review !! We will be in cabin 1599 on our December cruise. I am bothered about the lack of footstools or loungers. We are on the slant and I am hoping for loungers or will ask for them. My hubby has had double knee replacement surgeries and was looking forward to relaxing on the balcony. Sounds like the Aqua Class is a bit different from the advertisements when we booked. If they are going to delete perks, the website should reflect such. But.... all that whining aside, we are looking forward to trying Celebrity after about 12 RCL cruises. We will be happy j
  15. Thank you for the wonderful review !! Sounds like you had a lovely cruise with just enough activity and relaxation. We look forward to our first Celebrity Cruise in December. We usually sail RCCL and are ready for a change ~
