  1. Just back from back to back cruises on Allure.

We were on 6.00 pm sitting (changed from 2nd sitting to 1st sitting on first cruise without problem - went to Maitre D shortly after boarding and changed sitting immediately) and didn't have any problems with this and getting to see shows etc. on time (some shows we had reservations for and some not and for those we just turned up and got in without problems).

Haven't personally experienced My Time Dining but spoke with some people who said they did have some problems getting reservations at times suitable to them.

  2. Just back from 12 night Canaries and North Africa cruise. We found everything was OK after the refit. Believe they added more staterooms and think this might be the reason why some overcrowding occurred in Windjammer, bars etc. sometimes difficult to get a seat but overall nothing really to complain about. Interested to see someone commented on no egg station in Windjammer. Not sure where they were looking but I had a delicious, fresh cooked omelette every day! Wouldn't have any problem going on Explorer in the future.

  3. Can anybody advise me please?

We are thinking of booking Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas from Southampton to Cape Liberty at end October 2015.

What can we expect in terms of weather etc? Not convinced about 8 days on board if the weather is going to be bad! Don't expect to be sunbathing around the pool but would like to think we might be able to go on deck without being blown away.

We have cruised many times before but always the Med or the Caribbean but never the Atlantic crossing.

Any experiences of crossing the Atlantic this late in the year would be appreciated.

    Many thanks
