  1. Never had an aft wrapped. When our June 7, 2020 cruise was in danger of being cancelled, I looked for another one of course. With DD job, had to be a week kids are off school. Booked for 12/27/2020 out of NO on Glory. It was expensive and I am now second guessing myself. Will I ever be able to go back to another room?
  2. First cruise, 12/16/1987. My husband had won 'rewards' in an Employee Suggestion contest. Got a few little things, but his team had a BIG idea. When I saw that you could use points to book a cruise, I got him to promise a cruise if the BIG ONE won. It did! 1987. The morning we left home in suburban Chicago, it was -20. Limo to airport. Holiday from Miami to Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios. Thoughts. Sheet shooting. No 'optional' dining. Free room service. Topless deck under the funnel. Now have about 25 cruises.
  3. Just booked July 20. We have been to Mobile but never for a cruise. Driving over that morning after dropping dogs at vets
  4. Just started buying Carnival stock. Where do I find the form to request the OBC? Have 3 cruises booked this year.
  5. Southern Mississippi here. Our county (Stone) has 0 cases right now. The Gulf Coast and far northern Mississippi are not great but better than a lot. Schools are closed until April 17. I live in a small town. Most restaurants are closed. The small family ones anyway. No fighting in WalMart. Have 3 cruises booked this year, all out of New Orleans. June 7, Oct. 11, and Dec 27 (backup if June cancelled). Sad for our country and our people
  6. Love the thoughts. Keep them coming. 119 days till we sail
  7. I booked the Glory for June 7 2020 just last month. FTTF was sold out. Been checking every day and this morning, VOILA, there it was. Now have FTTF, Cheers, and a port excursion in each port booked and paid for!!!!
  8. Anyone ever gone on a horseback riding trip in the Bahamas? My daughter really wants one in October 2020
  9. Just back from the Valor on 8/31. We took an all-inclusive beach day from Carnival. About 30 minute drive on a large well air-conditioned comfortable bus. Facility had 2 pools, beach, lots of sun and shade, unlimited food buffet and drinks. Pool games. Massages were available $30. for 30 minutes. NO VENDORS. Best thing about this venue was their people. Helpful to the max. Friendly. Would go back in a hot second!!!! https://www.carnival.com/shore-excursions/yucatan-progreso/all-inclusive-private-beach-experience-320070
  10. Thinking today and getting dollar bills ready. What is current tip amount for the baggage handlers at the pier? We are leaving out of NOLA and parking at the pier. The luggage is taken out of your car and shuttled to the ship. Seems to me we have been tipping $2.00 per bag for like 30 years. Were we over tipping years ago or am I way behind the average?
  11. Looking at your blog, Dream cruise, I saw a photo of THE UNICORN drink. Is that from Alchemy bar? Valor 8/26 is almost here.
  12. We live 90 miles from the port. Sailing in 10 days. We have FTTF. Plan to park at the pier. What would be the best, earliest time to arrive to get parking spot and board ship. Thanks
  13. Sailing Valor in 10 days. Booked Carnival Excursion to Kokomo Beach. Anyone been there?
  14. Sailing 8/26 and can't wait. Not on Carnival in 6 years. Never on Valor.
