Good rainy morning, it’s supposed to last all day and then snow flurries tonight. I remember being at work when the news reports said that Challenger exploded. Good cloudy afternoon, rain tomorrow ending as flurries on Monday morning. I went shopping this afternoon at a favorite country/ primitive craft store that sadly has decided to close after 30 years due to the owners health issues. They are having 50% off sales every few weeks until everything is sold . Today I got an Easter wooden rabbit that matches one I bought several years ago. I’m sad to see them close but wish them healing prayers. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists and safe travels to all our friends heading for cruises.

Good rainy and foggy morning. It’s going up to about 60 today but then back to reality again on Sunday with snow at night, just a coating. I’m still having trouble with the fact that there’s no Urgent Care centers in the province. @Crazy For Cats, Jake, I had an email yesterday from a local farm market about Fastnachts day coming up on February 13 and they will ship anywhere for $11.99 . Good rainy morning, the snow has just about melted away. In honor of Robbie Burns night I have 2 bottles of Irn-Bru in the fridge to celebrate with. It’s been called Scotland’s other national drink 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Good drizzly late afternoon. Per a post on the Hotel Hershey Facebook page , today is National Peanut Butter Day. They recommend a slice of Reese’s peanut butter pie and a Reese’s peanut butter cup martini to go with it. 🎉🍸

Good cold 15 degrees morning it’s getting to be above freezing the rest of the week. By Friday it’s supposed to be near 60. Steve is doing better and he can get out of the lift chair with someone watching. His daughter and 5 year old grandson are on daddy and poppie watching duty while mom needs a break. Good cloudy afternoon. It made up to 33 today and warmer tomorrow and then rain the end of the week. I made it to church today and out for lunch then a nice long nap. I wear socks every day. I have several pairs with paw prints on them and a pair from Alaska. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Good cold evening. It’s 21 but the wind chill is 16. This afternoon was sunny but windy. It was the first time I was out of the house since last Sunday. One of the homemade ice cream shops was celebrating their birthday, it was packed, no seats so we left. They have unusual flavors, oatmeal ice cream pie and red velvet cake are 2 of them. Having spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread tonight.

Good 15 degrees out there morning. It’s only going up to 22 today but tomorrow is supposed to be 32 and keep improving next week. I love cheese and so do the cats. Cheddar is my favorite. @Crazy For Cats, Jake my kids believe the bowl is always half empty. Stay safe and warm.

Good news on Steve’s motorized recliner. Their neighbor was able to pick it up and deliver it to the house. He also installed handrails on the stairs. Relatives have delivered meals for now. Such a blessing.

Good cold and snowy morning. It’s supposed to snow all day and then be bitter cold tomorrow. I’m so tired of winter. There is a gourmet popcorn company in Lancaster County called Emma’s with many different flavors They do ship. Right now for Valentines they have Red Velvet flavor. Stay safe and warm. Please 🙏 for Steve and his wife. She spent over an hour trying to get him out of the recliner last night after the pain meds kicked in. She plans on getting a motorized chair today.

Just had an update on Steve, he was refusing pain meds so they did not send him home with any medication, then the nerve blocker wore off and they were able to get the surgeon to call a prescription in at 8:45 tonight and her pharmacy closed at 9!00. She lives 5 minutes away and they were able to fill it. As she said it would have been a long night.
