  1. I hope what the head housekeeping officer (Paul) told "Calicakes" is accurate. If so, this is great news. I'm going to e mail Celebrity again to try and confirm this (new footstools, and possibly larger tables on order, will take 60 days). I too, have been e mailing them about this issue, sending pictures of shower stools, beach balls, etc. We're sailing on the Equinox at the end of February, and hoping we have the new items, but I want a confirmation from Celebrity's Miami office.
  2. It's hard to believe that Celebrity deleted these footstools from their concierge veranda's. This was one of the perks of the concierge level that we enjoyed. Thanks for everyone for their replies. Wow, a green shower stool!! Very classy.
  3. We just booked one of the new alcoves on the Equinox. I did it online. There are only 6 of them, and I would guess that they will probably sell them out. There were a total of 8 on the Reflection and Silhouette.
  4. Does CeIebrity Equinox still have the veranda footstools in Concierge class. I hope they haven't been eliminated since the June refit.
  5. Can anyone share their experience at Samana, Dominican Republic? Celebrity is stopping there. I think it is a tender port. Any experience with excursions, or walking around the port?
  6. We're looking at a sunset veranda on the Equinox. Anyone experienced engine/azipod vibrations or nose? Thanks in advance for replies.
  7. Am considering the QM2 for a cruise, but am concerned about the term "sheltered balcony" cabins. Are the balcony's really small, and what does "sheltered" mean? Can you still sit outside and enyoy the view? Need help from cruisers who have stayed in these cabins.
