Where's the part about your life as a crew member?

I got a job with Carnival in 2007, worked on the Triumph, Holiday, and Fantasy. One of those ships still sails.

Back in 2017 we took a cruise from Venice that went around Santorini and Athens. It also stopped in Kotor on the way back.
We embarked on May 21 and it was the perfect time. Spending a couple days pre-cruise was nice. When we returned a week later, more regular tourists showed up and the streets were more crowded.I always recommend Europe in the first two to three weeks of May. The weather was great and the tourist spots weren't yet crowded.- 2

They had a cruise at the right price in the right place at the right time.
Nothing to do with brand loyalty or anything else. Those are my prime requirements.- 3

US Dollars and a travel credit card (Visa or MasterCard)

I'm going on a Celebrity cruise in a couple week. Never gambled in an onboard casino. I have my travel credit card associated with my account and will use it with my shipboard card, but I don't want the casino to use that credit card as a cash advance for chips.
Should I bring cash? If I offer an atm/debit card will they be able to use that? -

Going on our first cruise on an Edge class ship and our room is close to the area where the Magic Carpet operates, if not directly behind it.
Will we hear it raising and lowering? Do the run it often? Will we be able to sleep in the mornings? -

I really want to do a Titanic cruise; second week of April, Southampton to New York, but I DON'T want to get on a stuffy Cunard cruise.

Late to the party but ...
In May 2017 we took an MSC cruise out of Venice. Venice was great. Athens was great. Olympia was great. Kotor was great.
SANTORINI was VERY disappointing. I was so accustomed to seeing the white and blue images in pictures the reality of all the brown cliffside and brown land BEHIND the town really disillusioned me to it. You can see my perspective in my very unprofessional pictures and the town just looks like any other place I have been. It reminds me a lot of Mexico.- 2

They have an Ultimate Texas table.
The endless bastardization of games casinos will come up with part people from their money will never cease to amaze me.

You asking about the table game or the actual poker table?
What? I'm not talking about 3 Card Poker or Black Jack. I said Texas Hold 'Em

On Edge last summer, ONLY cash games. 1/2 blinds, $200 max buy in.
On Apex this spring we had 3 tourneys/day on sea days (1, 2:30 & 4). $60 buy in, 10 players max. We showed up at 9AM when casino opened to ensure we got seats. The blinds are INCREDIBLY fast. 10 min. Starts at 100/200 & basically doubles each time.
Cash games were all over the place. First they said it was 2/5 (WHAT? even in Vegas those are the minority). $200 buy in max..then it was $300, then $500. Got a bit rich for my blood. (may as well have been 2/5, was playing like 4/8...)
I'm not. I mean a regular table. Does Celebrity not play Texas Hold 'Em regularly? That would be very disappointing.
