    App

I guess this explains why I haven't been able to log into the app. I had no idea about this. Now I know (and knowing is half the battle)
  2. The Circle K that is part of that Mia Petroleum/Valero gas station does sell cases of soda, so your kids are all set. They also sell at least beer there as well, but I'm not sure about wine. If they sell wine, it will be a very limited selection, as the store is fairly small. You can bring it up on Google Maps, and click on the Circle K to see pictures of the inside of the store
  3. No, there are no water bottles in the FH Lounge fridge Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app
  4. It's billed to your S&S account. It cannot be prepaid Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app
  5. Think of it like an in-app text feature. The feature allows you to chat (text) with others on board that have also paid the $5 for the feature. You must know the number of the person you want to chat with. If I recall correctly, it's a 4 digit number that you're assigned when you enable the feature. Note: for security reasons, minors can only chat with their parents, nobody else Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app
  6. Hahaha, I completely glanced over WHY he wanted the Hub app on the Macbook. You're correct, the Hub app doesn't even have the ability to check email. As you stated, he simply needs to connect to the ship's network using the Value plan he's getting, and then he can read his emails Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app
  7. I'm not familiar with Macbooks or iOS, but my hunch is that it's not possible. The Hub app is a mobile app designed for smartphones (but will work on tablets), not computers. Mobile apps and computer programs are programmed differently. Unless there's a way to run a simulated environment on the Macbook, in which it'll trick the app into thinking it's a mobile device and not a computer, I don't see how it's possible. 8. The Vista class ships already have the open Promenade deck, like the Dream class. There are differences (no hot tubs on the sides, addition of outdoor seating for the various food venues, the Havana area) but you can still walk all the way around the outside of the ship on that deck, at least after 7pm when the Havana area opens to everyone. 9. Not the Fantasy, but my last cruise on the Vista had no tender ports. All other FTTF benefits were honored (we had priority boarding, our cabin was ready immediately, I used the priority line at Guest Service, etc). I don't see why they wouldn't be Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app
  10. I would like to see either a pool in the serenity area or add a pool to the Family Harbor area. Also, a better theatre design is needed. What they have on the Vista class and Sunshine is horrible. There is no way they'll try a Central Park like feature. For a rough idea of what the 2 XL-class ships will look like, take a look at the AIDAnova. She is the first of the 9 XL-class ships that Carnival Corp has on order, and she will launch later this year. I expect the overall layout to be somewhat similar across all 9 ships, with obvious adjustments made for each brand. Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app
  11. Yes, it does. Usually, you'll sample 4 beers during the tour. If they're trying to get rid of something, it may be 5 beers. When I took the tour in mid November, they were trying to finish off a pumpkin spice beer, so we got that in addition to the 4 usual beers (I hate pumpkin, but that beer was actually very good). Between the 11 of us on my tour, we went thru 10 pitchers of beer in about 80 minutes. We were seated at 2 tables, 5 at one table and 6 at the other. For each beer sampled, 2 pitchers were brought out, 1 per table. You get a free pint glass & a certificate at the end of the tour. Bring the certificate back later during your cruise for a free pint (you still get to keep the certificate) Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app
  12. I haven't said the Horizon (yet), but I have taken the tour on the Vista. Assuming it's the same, you sign up for it at the brewery. I'd recommend doing it as soon as you board, as it can sell out. IMO, it's well worth it. Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app
  13. Thanks! Sam was always my favorite Muppet growing up Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app
  14. I saw no mention of it. If he said that, it would cause a lot of comments and I don't see anything Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app
  15. Where did you see JH saying they were stopping the ships on a stick? I haven't seen anything about it and I follow him fairly closely Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app
