We had a jumper on the last night of our Oasis cruise in 2015 .
He was never found . They looked for hours .
I also was on Independence in 2016 and the kid jumped at night. Searched for hours, Coast Guard, helicopters, other cruise ships helped and we were 3 hours late sailing back into port for debarkation. So sad. I don't think they ever found him either.

You're thinking of Pinnacles not being allowed in the Suites Lounge to keep numbers down during COVID protocols.
Diamond and up have always been allowed in the Diamond Lounge.
Suite guests are not allowed in the Diamond Lounge unless they are Diamond level or higher.Yes, thank you. You are absolutely right!

We had no trouble getting into the Diamond lounge on Ovation in Sept. I'm expecting the same on Anthem later this month. Are you perhaps thinking of the Suite lounge?
Great, good to hear. You're probably right. Thanks!

You could get your cappuccinos in the Diamond lounge. That's what we do!
I thought I heard Diamond members were not being allowed in the Diamond lounge right now. It is for guests who purchase Suites only. Is that true?

Hello what are the new standards in effect for the rooms to be cleaned do roomstewards wear masks and gloves, do they was. The bed comforters after each sailing, what about mattress and pillow how are they cleaning
If you are worried about dining at all, we noticed in the MDR on formal night the waiter uses your fork and knife to take the lobster out of its shell and cut it. He was not wearing gloves and I did not see him wash his hands between cutting lobsters for his other passengers.

I really hope it's open on the Odyssey for our Holiday cruise.
Just off the Odyssey on Sat 11/6/21, Windjammer was not open for dinner. Closed everyday by 3pm.

Just off the Odyssey on Saturday. We sailed with 1395 Passengers and 1500 Crew. In one of the shows towards the end of the cruise, it was mentioned they hope to be up to 3500 passengers in the next 3 months. Total occupancy for Odyssey is 5498 passengers.

This is a very rare occasion, but one never knows. I was on a cruise where a kid went overboard and the ship had to stay out at sea trying to find him. We had to wait for the coast guard to come out and give clearance to sail back into port. The ship was delayed 3 hours and those with early morning flghts, missed them. Just an FYI.

Also, just an FYI... Just off the Odyssey yesterday and they mentioned hoping to up the passengers to over 3000 (I think they mentioned 3500) in the next few weeks. So bidding may be tougher if the number of passengers increases. (We had 1395 passengers with 1500 crew members, it was awesome).

We got the JS upgrade email just now!! Super excited. Can anyone tell me what kind of bathroom to expect (shower/tub/# of toilets/etc.)? The Odyssey has only sparse details about staterooms on the site. We are in 12638 - J4 starboard on the bump out. I'd appreciate any details you might have!
Woo-hoo!!!
I believe it is the two bathroom suite. One bathroom with a toilet and a sink, the second is a sink, bathtub and walk in shower with bench. (Only one toilet). We were also on the hump. I also don't think they upgrade everyone because the suite next to us was empty.

Correction to my last reply: we are six days out and still pending with no option to modify/cancel. Fingers crossed!! (Not obsessed at all. lol)
I hope it worked out for you. The JS was amazing and the Coastal Kitchen for dining was great. Presentation of food and the food was piping hot. Our only regret was not checking the app again before formal night. Prior to formal night the menu at Coastal Kitchen did not have lobster, so we opted for the main dining room. After the fact, we found out they did have lobster and I'm pretty sure it was a notch above the lobster in the MDR. The service in Coastal was also amazing and it was never crowded!

We are on the Odyssey for the 11/6 sailing with an Oversize Balcony stateroom. Put in Royal Up bids for a JS, 2 types of OS. Today, the two OS bids "expired" and the JS is "pending" with no more option to modify or cancel (still six days until sailing). Is that a good sign that the JS might have been accepted?
*Sorry, in advance, if this post is redundant.
Yes, our GS 1 bdrm bid expired and our JS was pending until 4 days prior to sailing, when we got the congratulations notice. We also were not able to modify the bids for the JS once it went to pending. We got one of the suites on the hump and looks like it has the separate shower. Good luck, hope it works out for you.

I sail on Sunday also and my bid to a junior suite was accepted on Thursday mid noon.

Thanks for the clarification everyone! Much appreciated!

Hi All,
I'm sure there's a thread about this somewhere, however I could not find it. Can anyone tell me what the difference in ordering the Surf & Stream Internet
1. One device per person
2. Two devices for one person, and share the 2nd with your spouse (less expensive)
Thanks!

I asked 3 simple questions. Only one person had the decency to provide a helpful answer (the eMed test which if anyone had done any checking would know the availability of those tests all expire 12/1 which does me no good). All others responding chose to bash me for daring to question why a FULLY VACCINATED person should be subjected to a 48 hour negative test. Thanks for nothing.
I heard they may extend the expiration dates and they are trying to get new ones that are good beyond December. No idea when you'll be able to buy though. Good Luck.

Does anyone know what Offer Received means? My RoyalUp offer doesn't say pending or expired, just "Offer Received." Is this normal for offers they are not even considering?

Sorry ampurp85, didn't realize there were already lots of discussions over these topics. But I really appreciate your reply. Thank you, Thank you!

Anyone know if Odyssey of the Seas is offering The Key option for October sailings? Also, are we allowed to reserve show times?
Thanks all!

I saw The Key dropped a little, but can anyone tell me what choice departure is? Can i get off the ship as late as i want? Also, under the Key it did not list free room service and 25% off all dining packages that was previously listed with the Key. Is that no longer a part of The Key?
