    Swimming onboard in Canada

Are you referring to a cruise on the East Coast or West Coast??? I can't imagine a scenario where the pool wouldn't be open for swimming with hopefully the roof open too.

    Be On Alert For Aurora

But as there are no cruises to Alaska at this time of year, kind of pointless to post on this forum.

    Gibraltar and the wild monkeys.

Don't go on a tour to where the monkeys are. We just spent the day wandering the town, never saw a single monkey. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  5. No. Different country with its own currency. Some stores might take it but you will get change in CDN and with a terrible exchange rate. However local buses only take CDN - as they should. What Fort? Sent from my iPad using Forums
  6. The six month validity does not apply for travel between Canada and the US as long as you are citizen of Canada or the US. Therefore Princess should be okay, but sometimes they make their own rules! Sent from my iPad using Forums
  7. eTA is only required when entering Canada via air, not by land or sea. Sent from my iPad using Forums

    Tipping

Have taken two Scenic River cruises (you will love it) both times we just tipped the young housekeeping lady and the butler who brought us coffee and croissants every morning. Both were very appreciative and in no way were they hanging around expecting one. Extra tipping was never mentioned, no envelopes left for us, nor did we ever see the supposed box left out for tips. One of the joys of travelling on Scenic. Sent from my iPad using Forums

    Esta visa

If you are flying directly into Canada you require an Electronic Travel Authorization, but only if arriving by air. If you're arriving in the US first and then into Canada via ship no need for one. The eTA costs $7.00 CAD and should only be ordered on the official government website. http://Www.canada.ca Sent from my iPad using Forums

    Recreational Marijuana and Alaska Cruises

Yes US Customs is under Federal jurisdiction where it is still illegal so you're risking criminal charges. I'm opposed to smoking of any kind and find the odour of marijuana way worse than tobacco smoke. Sent from my iPad using Forums

    Charge for babies/infants?

Hey notentirelynormal don't know where you're getting your facts from but Canadians do tip as it is very much part of culture. It is not usual for people from Britain, Europe and Australia. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  13. I took a look at both tours and the difference is $15 for an adult ticket. The CVS tour also makes a stop at Butterfly Gardens which could be the difference in price.
