  1. Hello, I'm looking for clarification on taxi rates from the cruise terminal to Hadicurari pier (MooMba Beach). I read in a few places that the far is $11 if taxi is OUTSIDE the cruise terminal and if inside the terminal, its a few $ more. Can someone confirm if correct and clarify what is meant by "outside"? Is it just outside the terminal gates or do we have to walk further into town to get the 'non-cruise terminal' lower rate? Does $11 sound about right? I booked a snorkeling tour leaving from Moomba and asked if I got a group together from my roll call if they could arrange transportation for us, and they replied that they could for $10/pp round trip which is obviously higher than $11 for a taxi when it holds up to 5 people for the same rate, so I just wanted to double check here before I decline their group "offer."
  2. So glad to hear another positive review! I have him booked for our first visit to Bermuda in October. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  3. I would definitely do it. We are doing something similar in a few weeks. Our cruise leaves from Copenhagen on a Thursday and my work week is Mon-Thurs, and I maximize my travel vacation time, so I knew I would fly out the prior Friday and land in Europe on Saturday, thus having 5 nights pre cruise. But we didn’t want 5 nights in Copenhagen, so we decided on 3 nights in Prague first and then 2 nights in Copenhagen. Was easy to book flights and I’m not stressed about it at all. 4. Thank you so much for taking the time to post this detailed review about your tour with Lewis! I also booked him for a 6 hour tour on our first Bermuda cruise this October so I am even more excited about my decision now! I agree he has been wonderful planning via email and receptive to everything I proposed to do (different than the ‘standard’ island Tours since we aren’t into visiting old buildings, museums, stuff like that) and I look forward to his suggestions as well on the day!! 5. 1st visit to Copenhagen coming up (our cruise embarks there next month) & we want to visit Tivoli but we are overwhelmed with the choices of entrance only ticket, paying for individual rides, or whether it is best to get the unlimited ride pass? We would be going on a Wednesday. Do most people get the unlimited pass for simplicity or pay for each ride? Which rides are the “must dos” for 2 adults? Dining recommendations would also be much appreciated inside the park. Thank you! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  6. This is one of my hesitations in Booking the day passes. I really like the idea and what they include but I would be devastated if we spent all that $$$ to be totally rained out. We are going mid October which is toward the end of the season so we may just chance it with not reserving in advance and seeing how the weather is on arrival if they have availability. 7. I’ve been researching on Trip advisor, Cruise Critic, etc. for a few weeks about Booking a private Taxi tour in Bermuda and have seen that the current rate is consistently listed as $50/hr for 1-4 pax. I contacted one of the drivers often recommended on these sites & planned out a tour & decided to book with him because he was the most responsive to my emails with questions & really customizing our day behind the standard tour for 5-6 hours. However, he indicated his rate is $60/hr. Is this common to charge a diff rate? I hadn’t seen anywhere listed that the rate was any higher or lower than $50/hr, I thought it was regulated. Do you think he does this to build in as his tip? If the norm is $50 and he charges $60 I’m still inclined to keep him due to the reasons above but I don’t think I would also give a tip then, since this is an extra $50 than other Tours would be at 5 hours, unless someone knows if the drivers can charge more than $50 and this is normal and I should still be expected to tip if I choose him? Thanks for advice. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

  9. I would love to know as well! We arrive late morning and have 2.5 days in port. I was thinking of getting up early on our 2nd day and going around 8:00 AM to hopefully have it not be so busy for a little while- anyone done this that can share how it is earlier in the morning? 10. I had a very easy experience booking with the Cruiseshuttle company listed on visitcopenhagen.com. I emailed them and heard back within 24 hours, only $18 USD one way from the pier to airport after our cruise, payable in cash or CC on the day. They confirmed my reservation and gave me clear direction where to find them when we disembark. I’m glad I found them since my cruise line was charging $40 per person. 11. Silly me, thank you! I was half asleep trying to look this up the other night and was searching for The Standard in Stockholm (remembering that was the thread discussion) and that’s why I didn’t find anything since I meant Copenhagen! Thanks again! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  12. Hi there! Thank you for looking at your photos. I tried google searching The Standard but I can’t seem to find anything on google or Trip Advisor? Do you have any other info or name the Restaurant might be under so I can find it? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  13. Hi, I would love to know the name of the place if you can find out! I’m cruising out of Copenhagen this summer and hoping to enjoy a nice lunch in the Nyhavn area like you mentioned! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  14. Thank you Danish Viking! Very good video making me even more excited for our trip. Thank you also for the recommendations for visiting Tivoli and Nyvahn earlier this week! I think it would be fun for our roll call group to plan a dinner together in the city the night before the cruise, since almost everyone will be arriving at least 1 day ahead. Can you share recommendations for a good centrally located restaurant in the city centre? I think somewhere that takes reservations for large groups would be ideal, middle price range, and of course good food. Thank you in advance! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  15. Hello- I arrive in Copenhagen around 1800 in the evening 2 days prior to my cruise. I’m thinking of doing Dinner and then Tivoli that evening, then on our full day I really just want to relax and walk around the city, particularly the picturesque Nyvahn area. I would appreciate advice for Tivoli “must sees” and is a couple hours in the evening there enough? Or should I go during the day and spend more time? For Nyvahn, I would love recommendations for good lunch or dinner, authentic Danish places not tourist traps. Any other suggestions are welcome- thank you! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
