  1. So far only one patient has brought one in and the provider isn't here so it won't even be looked at until Monday. This week has been exhausting. The phones rang non stop so much yesterday that I wanted to take a sledgehammer to them! Every single patient thinks they have it. Every patient wants tested. It just doesn't work that way. Monday they are opening up a drive up testing location across the street but even those patients have to meet CDC criteria in order to get tested.
  2. The provider isn't here today so it won't be looked at until Monday but I have suspicions that RCCL is about to cancel the patients cruise.
  3. Forgive me if this has already been posted but I work in a doctors office (don't even get me started on the insanity I've gone through this week now that we have cases in my county). A patient brought in a form that Royal Caribbean apparently sent out to passengers in a certain age bracket that they are requiring a physician to sign before allowing passengers to board.
  4. With her coughing so much I guarantee she will be tested soon if she hasn't already. Good grief what a mess for the Princess cruise line!
  5. We missed ports years ago due to weather and they gave everyone $50 onboard credit and refunded excursion fees that were booked directly through the cruise line.
  6. You are correct. There were plans to move them from Travis AFB but a judge blocked it. I haven't heard an update. And I also read that some were in Omaha?
  7. That's such a shame for all of the other passengers.
  8. I can't believe they turned away the ship for a documented FLU case. It's flu season. Just don't let that one passenger off....
  9. Ours are simple kit tests. No machine required. These are the ones we use. Results can be read in 10 minutes. https://www.4mdmedical.com/catalog/product/view/id/279452/?CAWELAID=120141310000056386&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&adpos=&scid=scplpSEKD1006&sc_intid=SEKD1006&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3oTM-bbt5wIVhJ6zCh2hZwxeEAQYAiABEgL2RvD_BwE
  10. I haven't even looked at their ships. lol! I've just been reading trip reports on here. Any suggestions? Things we've liked about other cruises: The shows, The pun on the Navigator where we sang along with the entertainer every night, Pools, games (not gambling though...we all stink at gambling).
  11. What is the Free at Sea? I'm on their site right now but I don't see that mentioned. Nevermind! Found it!
  12. My family has been on 3 Carnival cruises and 1 RC. RC is by far our choice. We were on one of the older RC ships too (the Navigator) but we thought the food, service and amenities were better. Just our personal opinions. We are looking into booking a girls trip for about 5 of us in the family (Me, mom, my sister and two aunts). The ages range from 41 (me) to 70 (my mom). We would really like to give NCL a try but are kind of nervous since we enjoyed RC so much. So tell me why you think we would enjoy a cruise with NCL. :-) I'd also like to hear the differences of a NCL cruise vs Carnival or RC. Thanks!
