  1. We are interested in a New Years cruise on Enchantment of the Seas that would embark on Dec 31, 2021, but cannot find a sailing for that date. There is an Enchantment sailing that leaves December 23rd, but the next one doesn't leave until January 28th. The ship disappears from the schedule between Dec 31, 2021 and January 28, 2022. The only thing I can conclude is that the Enchantment is going into dry dock or has been chartered for those missing dates. Anybody know anything about this? Or might there be another reason for the gap in the sailing schedule? Thanks.
  2. I've been doing mock bookings, and these 2 ships do 7 days out of Galveston. I can do a solo booking for 200% on Enchantment, but on Liberty seems like they quadruple the rate then give me $50 off. About $800 more than it says pp starting. I wanted Liberty but can get half the price on Enchantment.. not sure I've ever done that ship but think perhaps sister ships. It doesnt have a promenade right? Someone must have cancelled 2 adjoining rooms on Enchantment.. good price right now for march 30th. Should I or hold out for Liberty?
  3. We are cruising out of Galeveston on June 12th. Cruises were cancelled up until the day before we leave, so we have not gotten cancelled yet. Is anyone is else going on a cruise then? It's only 25 days out...how close to sail date would they cancel? We fully expected for it to be cancelled by Friday last week. Anybody heard anything? TIA
  4. My son and his fiancé will be sailing on Enchantment for 5 nights out of Galveston and they are looking for menus. Does anyone have recent Enchantment menus they can post?
  5. We have been on Enchantment several times for the 4 night cruises out of Port Canaveral. I know it is one of the smallest ships ever. What do you think about the 7 night on Enchantment from San Juan? I love the port options for the April 3, 2021 cruise which visits: Tortola, St. Kitts/Nevis, Martinique, Barbados, and St. Lucia. Two of these stops are places that we haven't been before. I really wish this itinerary was on a little bigger ship. It is over a year and a half away, so I have plenty of time- and I went with the refundable deposit just in case we decide not to go.
  6. I was checking prices and noticed that the Enchantment of the Seas is missing from schedules between October 20th and Nov 14th. I don't see her listed on what limited dry dock schedules I find. Anyone know where she is going during this time?
  7. Just took our first Royal Caribbean Cruise on Liberty, going on Enchantment in 5 weeks. Please compare for me. What should I expect on this smaller ship? Anything not to miss doing or eating on Enchantment? Thank you!
  8. I was just one Grandeur, and they published list of cruises for Enchantment, starting with the April 17, 2021 re-positioning from San Juan to Baltimore. Here it is: Enchantment Baltimore.pdf
  9. Will be on the Enchantment 4/6 sailing to Nassau, Coco Cay & Key West. We get "free" drinks in the casino and wondering if the casino/casino bar will be open while we are at any of the ports. I'm sure it will be closed at Key West but not sure about the other two. Thanks for any help.
  10. So we sail the Enchantment the first time Feb 7th and are excited just to be away together and on a ship!! In the last year we have sailed all of the Oasis class ships and the Liberty several times so we are used to a big ship. Normally we like to get to the port and board early, time to explore the ship, eat, etc. but not sure what to do this time. It will be a new ship to explore even if a smaller one so that will be fun. Trying to decide if we should do our normal and get there early or wait until closer to the rooms being ready time. What does everyone enjoy doing after boarding the Enchantment?? Just getting excited for time alone with my Love and exploring a new ship!!
  11. Hubby and I are on the Enchantment of the Seas. We could SEE Costa Maya, but overhead announcement, port cancelled. Rumor is MSC ship denied in Cozumel due to sick passenger, then also heard they were allowed to dock but no passengers could get off ship. We are headed back to Cozumel for an overnight.
  12. Well we just realized our Enchantment sailing is over Easter weekend. We saw it was doing a 7nt to Coco Cay a while back so picked that sailing not thinking to check when Easter is this year, sorry kids mom and dad wont be here this year, lol. At least our kids are teen boys and haven't hunted eggs, etc. in a long time but maybe the Easter Bunny will have to reappear and leave them each a basket of goodies for ditching them. So now on to Easter onboard will there be any celebrations? Special menu or anything?
  13. Howdy, folks. We are sailing on the Enchantment this Summer. My family of 4 is in Owner's Suite 8014. When we log in to our reservation, it says, "Suite." We are traveling with a family of 6 who is staying next to us in cabin 8012. This is an ultra spacious ocean view. It also says "suite" when they log in. That would be excellent, because it would let them have all of the perks that come with it. Here's the problem, though. Sometimes Royal's website and customer service is... inconsistent. We didn't think they were booking a suite when they did it. We know that other balcony-free cabins on other ships have been converted to suites, but we can't find any clear documentation on this one. Has anyone actually sailed in Ultra Spacious Ocean View stateroom 8012 on the Enchantment, and can you tell me if suite perks came with it?
  14. Anyone know how many treadmills there are in the gym on Enchantment? It's hard to tell in the pictures provided here on CC. Thank you.
  15. Impatiently waiting for cruise day (how is it only Tuesday??), I'm going to borrow a page from the book of @Saint Greg and start a pre-cruise live blog to get me through the next 7 days. This will be my third cruise in 13 months, the other two having been on Carnival, all three out of Galveston. My family definitely thinks I'm nuts, but I have been bitten hard by the cruise bug and I don't think I'll be cured any time soon. My sister, her best friend, and I will be in an aft jr suite, with me riding the sofa bed. I actually prefer it, as it's closer to the balcony. I mean ...
  16. My husband and I are considering booking a cruise on Enchantment - does anyone know how many tables they have for 3-card poker and blackjack ?
  17. Two of us cruising on Sept. 9, 2020 out of Galveston. Is there any recommendation on how to get to Galveston from either of the airports in Houston TO Galveston? Is there a 'group' shuttle that goes both ways? I think we will be flying in on Tuesday the 8th and going to Galveston to spend the night. Thoughts?
  18. I have been browsing the menus for our cruise in May😉. What is everyone must try menu? What is the one to avoid? We are also planning one chops night, what is the favorite there?
  19. First time posting. first cruise will be May 2021 on the Enchantment of Seas out of Baltimore, MD. It's a 5 night cruise to Bermuda. I am traveling with my husband, my 5 year old, and my then 10 month old. The current price difference between the Junior Suite and Grand Suite is about $1000. This will be the first cruise for all of us and opted for the EOS for it's port convenience (we live an hour away) and the splash pad for the little one. Are the GS perks worth it on this smaller ship? Are the perks especially helpful with small children? Or should we just stick to the JS since we will most likely not spend that much time in the room?
  20. Aloha! We are a family of 6 with 4 children ages 12, 10, 8, and 4. We were planning to book Majesty of the Seas out of NoLa in Sept 2020, but are also looking at Liberty of the Seas or Enchantment of the Seas out of Galveston. We have only cruised with Holland America, and are looking for something more activity filled now that our children are older.
  21. Just got off the Enchanment, Feb12-17. I forgot to pick up a sheet about the ships current stats. Me bad. Anyone have current info on her? TIA
  22. Hello -- We are doing a 5-day cruise out of Galveston in September. Our choices are a regular balcony on Royal's Enchantment of the Seas or either a Premium Vista (aft) Balcony or an Ocean Suite on Carnival's Dream. We've sailed both lines before (Liberty of the Seas on Royal and several Conquest class ships on Carnival). Which would you select and why? Thanks!
  23. FYI for those on the January 20 EN cruise. “Due to heavy traffic in the port channel we will have at least a one hour delay in reaching the pier” was just announced. Embarkation for your cruise may be impacted.
  24. Strongly considering an Aft JS corner balcony. Has anybody experienced soot issues on deck 7? Does being in the corner room alleviate this? Thanks in advance
  25. Looking to book a Junior Suite on the Enchantment Has anyone stayed in the Aft cabin and if so do you have pictures. Thank
