Vision Class Experts look at this Enchantment photo
ONECRUISER replied to BillOh's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Agree, interesting but been 22yrs since was on Enchantment. Do remember and can see why she'd have Aft Anchor. Back 20-30+ yrs ago remember Tendering off Royal ships more often then ever walking off, this included St Thomas, St Martin, Labadee, Coco Cay. Royal Ships carried own Tenders inc Majesty, Sovereign, Enchantment, Grandeur, even on then new Voyager, Explorer had them. -
Thanks Biker but I checked for a roll call just 2 days ago and couldn't find one...maybe I'm doing something wrong...I'll check again, thanks. I just found it but the title is confusing, instead of saying roll call for Radiance of the Seas Nov 12 2021 it has a long title "What used to be the Explorer, now the Radiance Nov 12 2021. I DID see that before but when I clicked on it, it didn't actually say it was a roll call but looked more like a regular thread...till I saw the Cruise Critic Host give instructions on how to title the roll call. There appears to be only one person on the

1388 or 1390 on Explorer?
rockmom replied to ChicagoCubsFan's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I've stayed in 1690 on Explorer, so the mirror of 1390. We loved it, although no stripper pole, lol. I don't think you can go wrong with either of them to be honest. Also, we didn't hear anything from the Windjammer. -
Which aft cabin do you prefer?

Lift and Shift Beyond April 2022??
Jcol5786 replied to Jcol5786's topic in Royal Caribbean International
As an update my wife phoned RC today to ask about Lifting our May 8'th cruise on Indy to the April 30 cruise on Explorer in 2022. I decided that I can make that date even though it will be close. The RC agent indicated that this cruise wasn't eligible for a Lift because it had already been Lifted once?? He would not do anything else even though we told him that our account showed that the cruise is eligible for a Lift to that date in April. We ended the call and did the Lift ourselves and now are waiting for the confirmation email which can take up to 72 hrs. Thinking about it after I remember -
We have an 8 night cruise on Indy which leaves Miami on May 8, 2021. We booked this cruise last June at a great rate on Brilliance. RC moved it to Indy which was fine with us. I doubt if this cruise will go so I started looking at L&S options. I soon discovered that since L&S ends on April 30, 2022 my only cruise options all leave in April 2022 which I can't make because of work. There is a cruise in May on Explorer that is the same as the offering in April. Has anyone tried to call and see if they will allow a L&S into the second month since the cruise is eligible for a partial

Someone posted Jewel was sold?????
Ashland replied to Seville2Cabo's topic in Royal Caribbean International
As long as my future RCI cruises sail I have no problem with them changing ships. I was ok with my Freedom being changed to Explorer...I sail for the itinerary not specifically the ship. -

davekathy replied to wblynch's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Thanks for the info. We've got a 10 night Celebrity Canada/Pacific coastal cruise booked for September 2021. 🤞 We did RC on the Jewel, September 2015 and the Explorer September 2016. Maybe RC will be back September 2022. -
More suspensions coming?
CTCruiser76 replied to Ourusualbeach's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We have a 9 night on the Explorer booked for April 4th, that we know must be cancelled or changed due to the CDC ban of cruises longer then 7 nights. Final payment is coming fast, any chance they cancel it before, so we can avoid another FFC of the deposit amount, if not, this will be our 3rd? -
We have sailed on the Adventure, Explorer, Oasis, and Allure and loved them all. We'll be celebrating our 50th. Anniversary. We like a lot of sea days, Eastern and Southern routes Ft. Lauderdale, and balconies. At 70 years old with some spine issues activities are limited the Allure is the right fit. I am obsessed with knowing details about nearly everything. That was the purpose of the question. Now I can turn it over to my TA to do the rest. Thanks for all replies. Xray

When our May 2020 cruise was cancelled by RCI we got an email letter from RCI with an apology and all the specific details involved about our options. When our Freedom ship was changed to Explorer we got a similar email.
