    Vista or Breeze

Family of 5 including adult children aged 18-22. We enjoy Carnival, RCCL, and NCL. We generally like newer ships, but our favorite Carnival ship has been the Breeze. We are looking at Western Caribbean itineraries. Only difference is the Breeze stops in Costa Maya and Vista has an extra sea day (not an issue either way). Airfare to both Orlando and Houston is about the same. Fare is $1500 total more to go on Vista. Since new activities like SkyRide are not going to be a big draw for my kids, I am looking for opinions on whether the added expense is worth going on the newer Vista rather than another week on the Breeze.

    Carnival Breeze

Does anyone have info/pictures of Carnival Breeze cabin 2377? I did look up youtube and it only showed Horizon cabin 2377. If it's like that one, I'd be pretty happy with it. But not sure about layout. Thanks!

    Breeze Question

On embarkation day, what food options are available for lunch? Also, are small fans still allowed?

    Breeze Luggage Tags

It's my understanding that Carnival no longer puts our luggage tags in our cabins the last night of the cruise. Could someone tell me where and when we pick them up? Thanks.

    Carnival Breeze Funtimes

Does anyone have funtimes for Carnival Breeze Eastern Caribbean sailing out of Port Canaveral?
  7. Hi CC! I am normally just a browser through the boards but I had a few questions about my upcoming cruise...so here I go. I am doing a 7 day eastern Caribbean sailing on the Breeze out of Port Canaveral this summer! I am excited to see warm melting chocolate cake again! I am not new to Carnival as I have sailed on the Vista and Pride and am definitely not new to cruising (also sail on RCCL and NCL, but still love Carnival). I am sailing with a a teen (15 year old girl) and a "tween" (11 year old girl). We have two staterooms booked (balcony and inside for girls). We are not planning to do specialty dining (we have already done Fahrenheit 555, Cucina del Capitano, and Bonsai Sushi). I wanted to know any tips, secrets, etc. about the ship, embarkation at Port Canaveral, activities, kids and teens, dining, etc. I am aware of a few things: 1. Decks 6, 7,9, 10, and 11 foreward have a sun deck all the way forward. 2.Guys Pig and Anchor and Captain's Pasta Bar (Cucina del Capitano) are open for embarkation lunch- which would you recommend? We do not want to go to Lido Marketplace, Guy's Burgers, Blue Iguana, Pizza Pirate, or MDR, so deciding between those two 3. The lanai and promenade deck. Here are some specific questions I have: 1. What is Club O2 (15-17) like? The Camp Ocean for sharks (9-11)? 2. What are things for the girls to do (other than kids/teen club, waterslides, pools, ropes course, sports square, games at Red Frog, and mini golf)? 2. What are specific "hacks"/tips for any thing about my cruise? For carnival in general? 3. Are the Playlist Production shows good? I'm more of a broadway-style person and love musicals. On Vista, I did not enjoy the Playlist Productions that much (just my opinion, everyone is entitled to their own). What other shows are there that you would recommend (other than Hasbro)? 4. Is it possible for the MDR to bake peanut butter into the melting cake (swirl it in)? If not, you can get a side of peanut butter, correct? Thank you in advance!

    Breeze inside cabin

I wonder if anyone can tell me what is the difference between category 4F and 4G inside cabins on the Breeze. I am in a 4G, and wonder if I have a couch in the cabin.

    Breeze or Sunrise 2019

We are planning on taking a cruise to celebrate my son's high school graduation in 2019. We have narrowed down the choices to Breeze and Sunrise. My son's only requests were that we sail on Carnival (he had a great time on the Dream this summer) and we visit ports we have never been too. Which of these ships would you choose and why. Thanks for your input. Breeze~7 days with extra port, have to fly to Orlando, newer ship, deluxe cabin with extra bathroom, $500 less. Sunrise~8 days one less port, 4 sea days, can drive to port, refurbished older ship, no extra bathroom, $500 more.
  11. Can someone please tell me how much noise they have heard being on deck 2. It looks as if the cove balconies are under the galley. I have seen some reviews and no mention of sleepless nights. Thanks

    YTD on Breeze

Hello everyone I am on the NYE cruise on the Breeze and for the first time we have YTD. I have sailed Carnival 3 times before and my only dining request it a table for 4 ( just my family). We are a very busy family and when we are on vacation I want to spend time just with them. With YTD is it hard to get a table for 4 each night?
  13. Come join me in a review of our Carnival Breeze Journey cruise. This 14 day sailing was something we had wanted to do for a very long time, so come aboard Matey as I recount our Journey cruise aboard the Carnival Breeze.

    Breeze Spa Cabin

My BFF and I are staying in a Cloud 9 Spa Balcony cabin on the Breeze in a couple of months. We have stayed in a spa cabin on the Sunshine, and loved the amenities. I understand that the spa on the Breeze is larger and has a special pool. Anything we should know about? Any tips? We plan on several massages through the week. Yeah, I know that massages on a ship are a bit pricey, but we save all year for this time together. Our husbands enjoy the Daytona races...we go on a cruise. I think I know who gets the better deal here My questions is for those who have sailed on the Breeze and enjoyed the spa services. What did you like? What didn't you like? What is the best part of a spa cabin? thanks - and Happy Cruising!
  15. Good afternoon, Does any know if you can still contact the Maitre D on a ship to request your group be seated together? Is it still about 2 weeks out? Does anyone have the address for the contact person on Breeze? Thank you Kim
  16. Beer is important to me. However, I am not going to purchase the Cheers program because I can't drink enough to make it worth it and my wife does not drink. The PYOB would be ideal for me I think. However, the Carnival website does not list the Breeze as having the PYOB. There are posts from about a year ago with cruisers indicting that the Breeze had the service then. Can anyone confirm if they still have it on the Breeze? If so, should I expect it to be there in June 2019? Thanks!
  17. Hi, website shows ship arrival time as 8am on 2019-01-05. Does anyone know if generally the ship is in port and they start disembarkation earlier than this most of the time? When booking a shuttle with Cochrans they told me I would have no trouble making the 8:00-8:15 shuttle provided we do self assist disembarkation. My flights just got rescheduled from 12:50pm to 10:55am at MCO so want to be at the airport by 9am if possible.

    Carnival Breeze for kids?

We are thinking about taking our 5 kids that range from 10 to 3 years old February of 2020 on a cruise on the Breeze. Last year we went on the Carnival Dream and had a blast. It seems the Breeze has more for the kids. Is that true? Give me a good reason to book right now. Last time we had connecting ocean view rooms which worked out great. TIA.

    Breeze casino and spirit

Does the bree,e and sport have card games in the casino. And if so which ones. Thanks
  20. I know that the Breeze has tv's at the bar in the casino, but that's very little seating and lots of smoke so not a good location. Does anyone know if the playoff games Jan. 20 will be broadcast anywhere else? Thanks for your advice.
  21. Is one dining room for any time dining and the other for set dining time? And if so, does anyone know which dining room goes with with anytime dining?
  22. HI! I'm looking at a cruise in September, 2019. It will be just my husband and I. Trying to decide between the Breeze out of Port Canaveral or the Sunshine out of Charleston. Both ships are going to Bermuda w/ the Breeze going to Grand Turk and the Sunshine going to Princess Cay. Price is pretty close (sunshine $200.00 more). Just wondering which ship you all recommend? I will very much appreciate your advice. Thanks! Jen

7 day Spa pass on Breeze

I have only ever been to a spa on a ship twice. And both times were for a massage. We were looking at the thalassotherapy pool yesterday and both thought we might be interested in getting the spa pass. If any of you guys have gotten it before, how often did you use the pass? Also, do they limit the number of guests allowed in at one time? How do they keep all of the seats from being taken? We will be on our honeymoon, so lots of relaxing and just enjoying one another's company is what we will mainly be doing this cruise.
