  1. Does anyone know if Pickleball nets are available on the Constellation? The basketball court is referred to as a multi sport court and I'm hoping they have them. Thanks for your help.
  2. Can anyone please tell me the opening times of Michaels Lounge on the Constellation and what time they serve alcohol. Can you call in there during the day for a non alcoholic beverge. What is the lounge like on the Constellation. Thanks
  3. Being new to Celebrity, I am wondering if the shower in an Inside cabin on Constellation (sailing October 2019) has a door or just a curtain. I cannot tell from Celebrity pics.
  4. When the Constellation was last updated in 2017, were the Sky Suites updated at all?
  5. What exactly is the Chef's Table? Is it on every cruise? Is it included in the Specialty Dining Package and if not, how much is it per person?
  6. We are looking at a Mediterranean cruise in the summer of 2019 and LOVE the itinerary for the Constellation.....but are concerned for the ship itself based on reviews and one cruise we did on it about 10 years ago. We LOVE the solstice class ships and have been on all of them. We did not like Constellation when we were on it....but it has been refurbed since then so wondering how updated it is now?? Another option is the Edge which we know we'd love....but itinerary is not as good and it's way more expensive. Any advice is appreciated
  7. We are on Connie this March and was going to book dinner online at Qsine but it is no longer an option. Has it been closed down? I hope not as we loved it on Millenium last year.
  8. On the website, it shows open space next to inside cabin 8105. We are booked in that cabin. Is it crew area that might cause noise early in the morning?
  9. I just discovered that Constellation has seven OV cabins (3115-3127) on the port side between the glass elevators and Qsine. I cannot find any information on them, however. Are they exactly like the newer OV cabins on the starboard side (i.e. larger windows)? I see that the 3115, closest to the elevators, is available on a cruise I'm interested in, but wonder if the elevator creates much noise for this cabin. Also, for those going to Qsine on Constellation, do you walk down the hallway of these cabins to get there? Thanks for any information on these unique cabins.
  10. Hi I'm cruising on the constellation in sept 2019. I'm looking at either a classic or standard drinks package. The drinks price ceiling for the standard package is $6 per drink. All price lists I've seen start with beers eg. Bud @ $7 I also like a cocktail or two. The drinks price ceiling for classic package is $9 Prices I've seen for cocktails range around $12. Has any body got celebrity constellation drink price menu photos? How has everybody got on with there decision on the above?
  11. Other than the Tuscan Grill - what are the other specialty restaurants at the Constellation? Booked on Aqua Class with the Blu Room dining benefit. Any feedback on that please? With the Main Dining Areas - any comments on those too at the Constellation? First time on the Constellation and wondering what it is like. Thanks.
  12. Going on Constellation soon, we have been on a number of Celebrity ships and cruises before and are Elite, but never this ship so we know Tuscan Grill and Qsine are on the ship as well as Sushi on 5 but is that it ..... in terms of the speciality resturants, is there no Murano ?
  13. Morning Ive booked AQ for our cruise in April, cabin 9100, and have since learnt that it has a small balcony and semi private (thanks to this knowledgable site!). Cabin 9069 as become available and having looked on here I can’t see any negative comments apart from some slight noise occasionally from chairs in the Solarium in the morning. Does anyone have any opinion on this? I don’t want to make another mistake 😊 Thanks
  14. I recently saw a post regarding sets on another ship and am also wondering if there are currently any sets on the Constellation. We will be on board in late May. ****after posting, I see a comment regarding this on a prior post. Don't know how to delete this one. Sorry. Thanks for any info. Miriam
  15. What times are the headliner shows for the Constellation? Do they still have two shows a night for traditional early and late dinner seating?
  16. HI all, Wondering if anyone has sailed on Constellation in the "bump out" balcony cabins. Right now 7175 and 7176 show as available. Any info about these cabins would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  17. Am I able to fill a water thermal bottle freely in the buffet restaurant on Celebrity Constellation I’m deliberating whether I need to purchase a water beverage package. I don’t have any packages for drinks many thanks
  18. Hi everyone! First time cruiser - second post on this forum. Had great answers for my first question, so figured I'd throw another out there. We are booked on Celebrity Constellation in May for Western Mediterranean. We were able to choose 3 of 4 promotions when we booked (drink package, free prepaid gratuities and onboard credit) and now are wondering if we made a mistake not choosing unlimited internet. I didn't realize that roaming packages on our cell phone wouldn't work at sea (rookie mistake, lol). From the website it seems like we can only buy packages for the whole cruise which is very costly. I'm mostly concerned about wanting to connect on our 2 sea days. My questions are - do you usually forego wifi while cruising? If you do pay for it, is the service spotty or slow on the ship? Thanks!
  19. Can anybody tell me which restaurants are on Constellation just now. I get conflicting reports depending where I look!
  20. The ship left Abu Dhabi yesterday so I’m playing a bit of catch-up to begin with. I’m travelling with my DW and MiL. We have sailed previously with Celebrity, although only on S class ships. My MiL has only sailed with Celebrity once before. She normally cruises with P&O but wants to go too Petra so tagged along for the ride. Having spent three nights in Dubai pre-cruise we got a taxi to the terminal. The journey took around 80 minutes and I’m just glad the taxi had lane departure warnings too keep the driver awake! [emoji54] We had booked a GTY veranda. The stateroom we were assigned is on deck 7, with a slightly larger balcony as we are on an angle. The stateroom is noticeably smaller that on an S class ship, which will take a little getting used to. Saying that I’m not sure we’ll be spending too much time in it over the next 15 days, when not sleeping anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  21. The Constellation received seven new Oceanview cabins (3115 - 3127) on deck 3 recently. These cabins seem to be just next to the new Qsine. Does anybody know where the entrance to Qsine is? According to the deckplan it should be all the way to the aft just next to the elevators and stairs. Is that really the case? Or can you also enter the restaurant from the other side? This would mean that all guest of Qsine must pass the mentioned new cabins. This would certainly keep me away from booking these cabins. Also, I can not find any additional information about these cabins? What is the layout? Are they noisy? Any recommendations from previous cruisers? Frank
  22. Well, it's day four of our 14-day Arabian Sea & India cruise and I'm going to try to post some information on the cruise as we sail along. I had great hopes Celebrity's Xcelerate internet would be fast enough to post pictures, but what I've found so far is that it is still very slow! The picture below is around 500KB and it took several minutes to upload to Photobucket. It's mid-afternoon here, so there may be a high number of people using the internet. Therefore, I'll likely try to post pictures during the early morning hours. We've had a great trip so far and I'll be playing catch-up over the couple of days trying to cover the highlights. Cheers, Bill This picture was taken onboard the Constellation at about 2pm Dec 22/16 - our first sea day.
  23. I'm hoping someone will be able to assist with a query. I'm travelling with two other family members on a cruise from Shanghai to Singapore on Celebrity Constellation, we are visiting two ports in Vietnam, if we booked on the ship's own excursions, would they be able to provide the necessary Visa for Vietnam? We've had conflicting answers from several sources, including Celebrity Cruises themselves and wanted to hear what other cruise passengers have done regarding excursions.
  24. I just noticed that our Sky Suite guarantee assigned us to accessible cabin 9123 for an upcoming cruise. Do any of you fellow travelers know whether or not the shower gets slippery when wet (so to speak) and if water stays contained to the shower area? I.e. Because it's a roll in shower, does water cover the floor of the entire bathroom? If the answer to either question is 'yes', do you have any thoughts about precautions we can take? We don't need an accessible room, but the Celebrity travel advisor I spoke with told me there are no other Sky Suite cabins available on the cruise. I look forward to your thoughtful answers.
  25. Hi there, We’re a couple, lucky enough to have snagged a corner FV cabin all to ourselves on Connie, cruising in just over 2 months. I’ve been reading up on the FV cabins and some of what I’ve read has me a little worried about being “upgraded” (one of the perils of too much research!) On our cruise FV is still for sale but only on a Guarantee basis and at this stage only if you select 4 passengers (not an option for 3 or fewer). There are no CC, AQ or Suite rooms available that can accommodate 4 passengers. Therefore I surmise that someone booking the FV Guarantee will end up in a FV cabin as there is nothing to upgrade them to. In this case it is obvious that we would be top of the list to be moved as there are plenty of rooms available to move a couple to. We have asked our TA to contact Celebrity to make a note that we do not wish to be upgraded (which they did) but I’m not sure this makes much difference at all if a foursome want to book a FV and they need to make room. Question is, how would this likely play out for us? Is it common for couples to be moved from allocated FV rooms and if so, to what? Any recent experiences? I believe CC is technically an upgrade from FV, but even a C1 is currently significantly cheaper than we paid for the FV (there have been a few recent price drops). AQ is also a lot cheaper. If we end up being moved to CC or AQ, are we entitled to the price difference back between what we paid and the current selling price for CC/AQ? Hopefully all will be well but we’ll feel better knowing what to expect! Thanks.
