  1. Would appreciate suggests for what cabins have a bigger balcony in a mini-suite on the Infinity?
  2. Has anyone had their January, February or March Infinity cruise canceled? I'm waiting to hear about my Transatlantic in April to Rome. I figured I had a better chance if Celebrity was able to sail in the Caribbean before it had to head back to Europe.
  3. So, after much messing about we rebooked into 7080 on the Infinity 12 night South America cruise next December. I've read the database and was hoping to get some opinions on the cabin from anyone who has been in this one, or the corresponding one on M Class ships.
  4. Got this for a Dec 2021 sailing. Cruise is switched from Infinity to Summit, so I wondered if one might infer that perhaps Infinity is going bye bye? Also, would you consider Summit to be superior or inferior to Infinity? ABOUT YOUR UPCOMING TRAVELS Dear Guest, We are reaching out to provide an update on the status of your 2021/22 cruise vacation.  As the world continues to work towards a new normal, our primary goal continues to be a healthy return to service for our guests, crew and the communities we visit.  While working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevent
  5. Hi everyone. Please be advised this post is only for information and not to start arguments about if or when cruising will start. Our group is currently booked on Celebrity Infinity 5 day cruise out of Miami leaving December 5 2020 visiting Cozumel and Key West. There are 43 days left until the departure date. Earlier today I logged onto the celebrity website and was able to print out our boarding passes and book excursions under the manage reservation tab. I was not able to print out luggage tags or edocs as of yet. As I said this was only an information post. Thank You.
  6. Hi all: I recently booked a 5 night Infinity cruise but still wrestling with possibly changing to a 7 night Apex, thought I would get the opinions of CruiseCritic! Here is the info: 5 Night Western Caribbean - Infinity - Aquaclass A2 7 Night Western Caribbean - Apex - Infinite Veranda E4/E3 - +$500 Some other notes: Utilizing FCC, so pretty much paid off the 5 night Western Not too bothered about the ports, we have done Western Caribbean to tears Yes we could do another itinerary but the dates "work for now" We have sailed the I
  7. I'll start by apologizing since I'm sure this has been debated already.......My search skills are not great so I wasn't able to find the answer I'm looking for. We are planning our first cruise on Apex, up till now we have been pretty loyal to the Millennium Class ships I'm trying to decide between the Infinity Veranda and the Deluxe Balcony cabins???? I'm not very familiar with this class of ship so any input would be greatly appreciated My biggest concerns are: with the Infinity veranda, does the cabin get hot when you have the veranda open? And with the Deluxe, is
  8. Trying to be optimistic and booked a 2021 Med cruise on Infinity. Keep seeing references that the ship was scheduled for refurbishment in 2020. Just wondering if that has happened under the current circumstances. Will just be happy to cruise again!
  9. Had a very interesting cruise email, Portugal and Spain. Only negative was the location of the Aqua Class cabins. All aft on deck 11 on the Infinity. Could there be others that are sold out? My partner and I are prone to getting motion sickness so I think that won't do.
  10. Have been booked on this five day sailing to Cozumel and Key West for over a year. According to Celebrity this sailing is still a go. There has been no mention if we will have to be tested for Covid prior to sailing. Maybe this cruise will be like boarding an airplane. Just put on the mask and travel. I have flown several times during the past few months and other than wearing a mask it was no big deal. If this sailing does happen I will report back to advise what the protocols were. Keeping fingers crossed as I sure miss cruising. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  11. Booked on the 10 night Lisbon to Barcelona on October 9, 2021. Any guesses or word when they are going to do the upgrade yet? I'm in a Deck 11 AQ cabin and liked what they did to the Summit during the revolution......hope Infinity will be done by then (if they don't sell the ship that is...).
  12. Is something going on with the Infinity.....Celebrity cancelled the Nov. 16 cruise.....we have a cruise on her Nov 30......You can still book that cruise....but on the downloaded website it said the Infinity is not supported at this time......I cannot get into my reservation....even through Captains Club......when I called I got a vague answer .....but no information.....Any ideas?
  13. Experienced cruisers in our mid-30s, 5-day out of Miami sailed 2/29/2020 on Celebrity infinity. Booked an ocean view guarantee and was assigned cabin 3073 about 7-weeks ahead of sailing. Short version is that we enjoyed the cruise, and would be happy to sail X again if the price and itinerary look good. Embarkation went smoothly, from the time we got out of the taxi to the time we were on the ship I don't think we had any waits (got to the port about 12:15). One thing to note, driver said Port of Miami has two main ways to get to it, a tunnel (which was closed, accident perhaps?
  14. Trying to decide between good deal on Aqua Class room in 2021 vs Infinity Veranda and adding on the Sea Thermal Spa as a couple. I can't seem to find the cost of the couples pass (was $249 in 2018). We don't care about access to BLU. What other benefits are there for Aqua Class? It's a $600 difference in cost between Aqua and regular Verandah. Any info would be appreciated.
  15. Please bear with me…This is what I hope will be a detailed review of our back-to-back Mediterranean cruises onboard the Celebrity Infinity through the virtual world that exists in my mind during this Covid-19 Pandemic. We are cruising for 14 magnificent nights round trip from Civitavecchia in the wonderful world of imagination—our only way of experiencing this trip without leaving our home in Southern California. 😉 After a long and satisfying pre-cruise trip through Switzerland and Northern Italy, today we finally boarded the Celebrity Infinity in Civitavecchia. We flew in, te
  16. I got a call about my Celebrity Infinity 26-Feb-2022 2-night Bahamas cruise. As Infinity has been chartered they wanted to see if I wanted to move to 3-Mar-2022 with additional $50 OBC. I had a great deal inside cabin 7905 including 'free' classic beverage package, 'free' wifi, and 'free' gratuities for only $419.68 total with taxes/fees for the 2 nights ($209.84/night). It was such a great unusual deal for a 2 night cruise that I got a Consumer Service and Resolutions Coach to send me an email verifying it in addition to the BEVWIFGRT NRD code on my booking. But I happily took t
  17. For those of you who never did Qsine, here's what you missed in less than 2 minutes.
  18. Hello Celebrity cruisers, We booked the Infinity today on the 5 night Mexico/Key West itinerary, nothing fancy, basic veranda room. We are new to Celebrity but not new to cruising, Princess has been our primary cruiseline for the past 20 years. (For those applauding the cross-over from Princess to Celebrity, thank you but I will miss the many free perks). We picked this cruise to fit time off work and the shorter itinerary, and also the Key West stop. One Perk: Classic Beverage package for two. With no onboard credit the sunshine and beverage package will carry me through.
  19. Last time we cruised with Celebrity it was 2009 on the Galaxy. We really enjoyed the ship, the staff and the afternoon sushi bar. We are considering booking Celebrity Infinity for July 4, 2021 out of Rome sailing to Venice. We book based on the itinerary, not the ship and we have done more HAL cruises than any other line and been very happy with them. Unfortunately, their cruises don’t work with our timeline for this cruise. We’ve also cruised with Princess, Carnival, Royal Caribbean and NCL. This time we are going with another couple and their 17 year old son - none of them have eve
  20. So we are like a lot of folks looking at cruises because we are getting the 125% FCC for our canceled cruise that was supposed to be at the end of July this year. We are looking at the June 2021 to take a the Venice to Rome cruise on Infinity. Anyone have thoughts about the ports Venice, Split, Corfu, Kotor, and Naples. I used to work for Celebrity so I went a lot of places but of these, I have only been to Venice and Naples. Any thoughts about this by those who have done something similar?
  21. Forgive me if this posted elsewhere, I could not locate it. Has Celebrity issues s formal statement on if the drydock has been cancelled or id drydock is to proceed as scheduled? Thanks for any help
  22. I looked at Cruisemapper a few minutes ago and the Infinity is next to RCI's Anthem of the Seas having gone through the Suez Canal a day ago. The current location area says that Anthem heading to "Mumbai" India, but the Infinity location area says "ARMED GUARDS ON BOARD" Wow not sure what that is about so I decided to post this and hoping for the best as the ship is supposed to also go to Mumbai where the Ovation of the Seas is now.
  23. We are booked on two cruises on the Infinity next year. Originally she was to be dry docked in November of this year to be Revolutionized but that was canceled due to the Pandemic. Has this been rescheduled for next year? We booked based upon the fact the ship was to be upgraded this year with new cabins and furniture. Quote
  24. https://www.cosmopolitan.com/lifestyle/a32324626/isolation-trapped-celebrity-cruise-ship-coronavirus-julia-whitcomb/ I feel terrible for them. I also saw on social media that they have boxed up the entire spa and put everything in storage. Looks like they’re getting ready for dry dock. When was Infinity’s revolution scheduled?
  25. Just moved our August 30, 2020 sailing to this cruise. We were offered same rate, perks and OBC as we had with the old booking.
