  1. Does anyone know when Allure moves to Port Canaveral? Right now she is the Coco Cay anchorage and coming into Miami for provisions and to pick up crew. Allure is doing her test cruise on July 27-29.
  2. Will it Be the same on Harmony, when spanish rools says only mask if you Can t keep distance
  3. We have a cruise booked for May 2022 which is meant to include direct flights from London Heathrow to Barcelona to cruise on Allure. I have been trying to find out which flights. Royal Caribbean are suggesting they might be Lufthansa flights going via Frankfurt and via Munich for the return journey. Not sure this is classed as Direct !!!!!!! Instead of 2Hr 15 minute direct flight, we are now looking at almost 7 hours. We did a similar cruise pre Covid and had direct flights from Gatwick, an airport we would prefer to avoid. Anyone have any information please ?
  4. Hi all. Just wondering, will the pools / slides be reasonably warm enough to enjoy in mid-May on Allure of the Seas sailing from the Mediterranean? I'd love to enjoy the water elements on the ship, but if it's not feasible, then there are a TON of other things to do, no problem. Just wondering if I should plan water activities as one of the must-do's on the ship during my day at sea. Thanks!
  5. Does Allure have a happy hour? Or BOGO? Thank you
  6. We are sailing Dec 23-30. Anyone know if Mama Mia will still be the show? Thanks!
  7. Been over a week and cannot find anywhere, anyone who was selected. Last week RCCL said they were choosing volunteers. I think they lie!
  8. Looking at the Royal App for the first time in forever. Noticed that the DL on deck 11 is now labeled CL Typical Royal, or ominous change?
  9. Quick question for those that have stayed in an owners suite on Allure. is the entry to the bathroom flat or is there a step up. I have a client in a wheelchair that can manage most things but needs a flat entry into the bathroom. Thanks
  10. What is the current reservation timeline for show reservations? I have heard 90 days before sailing and that reservations must be made once on board. If we all line up to make show reservations on board that seems to go against any covid restrictions.
  11. Thumbing through the app and looking at deck plans, it shows American Icon Grill aft on Deck 3. However nothing is mentioned on the Royal website or ship info about it. Anyone know if it’s open or available to dine in? Reviews online say it’s a bit better than the MDR and at no cost, and definitely something I’d love to try but no info!!!
  12. Just booked the two bedroom grand suite on the Allure. I have looked at the various videos but cannot tell where the closets are for clothing. I saw one in the second inside room. Is there one in the master bedroom? Thanks in advance.
  13. Has anyone noticed that RC has the Allure of the Seas sailing out of Rome and Barcelona on 7 night cruises in the same week of September of 2022???😲
  14. I was not able to this important venue on the deck plans. Where is the Medical Center on the Navigator of the Seas and the Allure of the Seas? Do they have vending machines that dispense medicine for seasickness and upset stomachs? Cost?
  15. Has anyone heard that Wonderland has been removed from the Allure? None of my cruises on this ship have Wonderland as an option......
  16. Hi everyone, I haven’t been on the boards since our March 2020 cruise and COVID. Last I remember Allure was having pod issues or something and was going to dry dock. I haven’t kept up on news but wanted to ask if that ever happened? Trying to decide between the Oasis class ships and Allure has some hard to pass up pricing thanks all, and I’m glad to be back 😀😎
  17. Hello everyone. Couple of questions if you don't mind. 1. I am booked in a Grand Suite - so I will be able to use the Coastal Kitchen (which is a wonderful thing). However, is the Coastal Kitchen open for lunch on embarkation day? On a previous sailing I had the Key (no suite) - and really enjoyed a nice sit down lunch. 2. Fort Lauderdale terminal - is there a separate area for the suites when getting checked in? I know that there was in Miami but have never been to Lauderdale. Thanks in advance.
  18. I just booked a cruise on Allure of the Seas for October. In looking at the cruise planner, I noticed a new option: Unlimited Specialty Dining. Price is $196 for a seven day sailing. Is this a post-pandemic option? Has anyone purchased in the past? Did you consider it a good value? "Savor the savings with the Unlimited Dining Package! For one low price, you can enjoy multiple entrees and visit multiple specialty restaurants every night of your sailing. And as an added perk, this unlimited package also applies to lunch at specialty resta
  19. Hi All! We are (hopefully) doing a Med Cruise on Allure next summer (June 2022 which will hopefully be our wedding annniversary!). We've done Caribbean cruises before - Anthem & Freedom but we've not done The Med or Allure... Which leads me to the point of this thread! What are your must do recommendations for The Allure? We're in a Junior Suite 😄
  20. Hi,we are booked on the oct sailing on the Allure. We are considering doing the UdP. We have found on previous cruises the mdr very noisy and rushed at times. Is it worth doing this?? We have sailed before on Alliure and have only eaten in the mdr. Is this also available for lunch on embarkation day? Any feedback would be appreciated 🙂
  21. I know sounds easy right, had plans to go on Harmony this year in Europe, Ports would have been, Leaving from Rome,.......Naples, Barcelona, Palma DeMallora Spain, Provence, France.. Florence/Pisa Switching to 2022........ 7 Nights(Rome to Rome) if we can eventully Lift and Shift(September 2021 which still may be canceled, unknown at this time, would be in an Owners Suite) So ship now would be Allure of the Seas for 2022, same ports above. Or Odyssey of the Seas 13 day TA (Rome to Fort Lauderdale) would be in a regular Balcony cabin w/larger balcony
  22. Allure of the Seas: July 27-29 out of Port Canaveral Symphony of the Seas: August 1-3 out of Miami
  23. Allure of seas Sept 5th, is it a sell out? It is no longer on the Rci web page?? Thanks..
  24. Allure just docked at terminal in Miami. Miami Port Daily dock list Allure in port until June 9th. Looks a lot better on getting her ready for test instead of the daily stops for shots ,supplies etc. Bob. The Villages , Florida
