Relocated Cabanas at Coco Cay

Does anyone have any up to date information on the cabanas being relocated? I saw in another thread that it is now by the watersports area.

Is the area still private?

Is there still a deluxe buffet area? Can't tell by the map.

How "deluxe" is the buffet? What is different from the regular buffet?

Is it quiet?

Does it now have direct beach access (i.e. not on the sea wall).

Do/Can you get a ride to the cabanas (similar to the bungalows)?

We already have a bungalow booked and I am debating upgrading to the cabana. My mother cannot walk very far, especially not on sand. When we were there in April we used the Coco Limo to get from the tender to the bungalows on South Beach. Very little walking. The Limo was also available to take hubby and kids to the jet ski area but if we do the cabana they would be close by.

Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Coco Cay isn't very big. Walking to anywhere will take less than 10 mins.....I've never seen a "sea wall" on Coco Cay...it's all beach!

My mother is physically unable to walk more than a city block, so hence the reason I am asking about the tram.

Just came across this new info. Seems the cabanas have, in fact, been moved. I think I like it!!!

ETA: ok it seems the link is not working. Not sure why. I found this info on the the Royal Caribbean Blog. It was posted on 08/21/2017 so it seems the info is fairly new. If you Google: "waterfront cabanas at Coco Cay" it should be near the top of the search results.
