Now, down the stairs to deck 4

Now, we're all the way aft on Deck 4... What can we find here?

Club O2 for the teens...

Deck 4 has all the Life Boats and Muster Stations... you can just barely see this through the curtains

Oooo, the Warehouse... Arcade...

a back door from Club O2 to the arcade. Now these all cost, but just like in the Casino, these just take that S&S card...

There was an officier here, and he saw me taking photos. He asked why, and I said, 'Cause I write a review for CruiseCritic.com and post all my photos.

"Oh, would you like to see the life boats?"

I said Thank you, and headed back into the Warehouse and will finish the inside tour...

And now a door into the Circle C for the "T'weens"

Ahh Lambie your Nana is so so cute. My grandmother just turned 104 three weeks ago. I would love to take her on a cruise she is still very feisty. You are so lucky you will always have those beautiful memories..

Here are those "Secret Stairs" from the Deck 4 end... These will lead up to Deck 5...

Going farther forward on Deck 4, we start to see paintings and artwork. We're approaching the Park West Gallery area. They have auctions and sales of art. Plus they have free Champagne during many of their activities...

And back to looking forward. This is one of the Conference rooms.

And another -- but it also can be one BIG conference area...

LOVE LOVE LOVE all the photos! We are booking our first cruise today and it will be on the Magic since getting to Houston is easy for us.

A look back, and here are the bathrooms for Deck 4... Not a pretty thing, exactly, but necessary when you need them!

Did I share the tip with the tiles on the floor? You see the white tiles... The point to the forward end of the ship. If you come out, and there are tiles on the floor, look down and you will know which way to walk...

So you wanna see inside?? Really... well, guess what, I have a short tour of the handicapped bathroom. If you need it, you'll appreciate knowing what you get...

And I peeked in the regular, Ladies room... just for you!!! CLOSE YOUR EYES IF YOU'RE A MAN!!!

Now, back down the hallway and passed the Dining Room, is the Library

And right outside the Library, if you turn left, you find the main entrance to the Northern Lights Upper, or straight across is the Escape bar. A quiet, more refined area.

And looking in, the Northern Lights is ready for dinner service already!

We're all the way forward, through the Lobby

The Crystal Eagle award for the Best Customer Service in the fleet

I headed over to the Guest Services, and asked for a deck of playing cards... then through the Lobby elevator bank

And the Handicapped bathroom on Deck 4, by the Showtime Theatre

Now, back up to the cabin to see how Nana was doing.

She was still sleeping, so I opened the deck and played a couple games of Solitaire... Did I show you the Platinum gift?

And you can see the deck of playing cards is opened...

Don't you love having an easy port to depart! For us it's a 4 - 4.5 hour drive. Just gas money, and maybe a hotel.

I wish I could see you on your first cruise... Those first steps and looking up in the Atrium!! I squealed with delight seeing my first on the Ecstasy! I still squeal with my first step onto the ship!! I know what FUN I'll have and all the pampering I'll receive!!

I think it's been about 2.5 hours since Breakfast... It must be time for lunch!!!

So I head down to get Nana her Ruben!

I love this next photo... my mouth waters... I may enlarge and frame it...

And it almost looks like it's sticking it's tongue out at me... "Nanny, nanny boo boo... you can only have me when you're on the ship!!!"

And over to get my plate of Tandoori delights!

Naan... Naan, I'm spelling it a few times so I won't forget the double-A...

Oh, your ship pictures are just AMAZING. I don't think we will ever get to cruise on the Magic, but I feel almost like I was on her already! THANK YOU for sharing. LOVE the lights in the promenade area of the gift shops. And your own special tour of the lifeboats too! I am impressed! :p I hate to open a can of worms, but it "upsets" me a bit that they have the arcades for the "kids" on the ships. I guess it's just like the casino for adults where they just want to have fun (:eek:) but I see this generation constantly with all the electronic things and wish they could last a week without them and discover something else. :rolleyes:Just MHO. I am SO ENJOYING this review and wish you and Nana many many more cruises. BE CALM AND REVIEW ON! :p:D

Once Wingie comes back -- she tells me all about the trip. Yes, she should have taken the towel. Many others did! (I told her so)

I told her, "You picked a great day for the hike and climb! With all the clouds, I'm sure it wasn't too hot. Did it rain on you?"

She looked back, puzzled, and said it was so SUNNY and HOT and HUMID... and they didn't have water to buy or share... and with the lunch that was included in the excursion price, you had to buy your own beverage, even water, tea, or soda. And she made it almost to the top, but the sheer drop was too much and the climb too steep...

Before I finish this thread... I hope she will share her photos with me...

So, now, let's head to dinner...
