One would think Carnival would mention the dangers of trying to stand or even sit on the rails of a moving cruise ship
I suppose they could, but when do we stop warning adults about things that are self-evident, like "Setting fire to yourself is likely to result in an unfortunate outcome." We now have coffee containers that warn us that hot coffee is, you know, hot. I fly a lot on business, and I always memorize the number of seat backs I have to touch to get from where I'm sitting to the nearest emergency exit if the cabin is in darkness or filled with smoke. The people that pay no attention to this sort of thing are the same people that keep asking "How can I get out of muster drill?" The people that truly do accidentally fall off cruise ships are few, I hope, and certainly in the running for the Darwin Awards.
