Skip dessert in the main dining room and head up to the buffet for fresh made crepes. We did not discover this until the last night! Crepe station is located in the far aft of the cafe. Lots of choices for fillings and toppings. Trust me---don't miss it! Have Fun

Really ?....what a disappointment, probably need to fight for a seat, and we thought it was totally open to anyone with no fee:mad:

Tons of non- restaurant places to sit, and also bars where anyone can hang. You can always find a seat. And yes, some pay restaurants have seato grout there, too, and they will use those spaces in the evenings.

Do they make specialty Crêpes such as Crêpes Suzette or do you pretty much have to dress them yourself?

They make the crepes and stuff them with your selection(s). Then you can add any toppings they have set out for you to help yourself. I'd say a probable no to Crepes Suzette.

they should be tons of other seating options on the waterfront. the whole entire outside deck has chairs, tables and chairs and loungers if the ship is similar to the breakaway

I spent a lot of time relaxing with my book during the day on the couches on the waterfront. Nice quiet spot away from the pool craziness.

There is a selection of fillings such as various pie fillings, sometimes fresh melon, pineapple. Probably the most requested is Nutella with or without bananas. Whipped cream, chocolate and Carmel sauce are also available. It's not "do it yourself" - the chef takes your order and makes it right in front of you...and the many others waiting! And there are gummy bears and sprinkles a this location too. They will also make you a fresh waffle.

It's only open during dinner hours - closes at 9:30pm.

-The Grotto in Spice H20 is freezing. Enter at your own risk. :-)

-Bring close toed shoes for the ropes course and do it while in port. Fewer kids and little/no wait. Don't have any loose items on you. They won't hold anything while you do the course.

Just a few things off the top of my head.

Yes, to crepes and going all the way to the back to get seating.

Tyler Gray has the most energy I have ever seen for a cruise director. He is very engaging and you will see him everywhere.

Sign up for the Cruise Critic Meet and Greet! Lots and lots of free beers as well as appetizers were given.

In the morning, head to the 5'Oclock Somewhere Bar for coffee, tea as well as assorted pastries. It was great for us to run there in the morning for a quick bite including those delicious chocolate croissants.

If you find that you cannot make dinner reservations for the specialty restaurants, just go to the restaurant directly. We were accommodated at La Cucina at 6:30 p.m. (party of five) when all the screens and tv said only 9:30 p.m. or later was available.

The shows seems to last longer than other shows we have seen. I really loved the Brat Pack and it was 1.5 hours.

There is a small buffet set up in the casino during certain hours. Also, coffee.

Thanks again - this is helping me as well- I am going on the Escape twice this year. although I havent been on the ship yet if it is consistent with the Breakaway it seems there are nice spaces on the waterfront in between venues to sit at during the day which are quiet and good for reading. I would imagine the chicken pot pies at oshennans are good as well for a quick lunch like on other ships.

Not just closed toes, but heels must be closed also. The foot must be entirely enclosed.
