I won $5550 on Ultimate texas holdem playing $10 a box, i hit a royal flush. Unfortunately there was a maximum $5000 per bet table limit, on Celebrity, so the pit boss took away the $550. I did feel a bit cheated as the bonus bet where i'd won the $500 is an optional bet. Still an amazing feeling and one i'd like to experience again soon please Mr Poker god

No HUGE wins to report. I'm a cheap, but pretty good, BJ player and have enjoyed countless late nights at the tables. Sometimes win a little, sometimes lose a little, but never more than $200 either way. The socializing and meeting new people is so worth it.

One funny story - My daughter, grandson (2 yrs old), and I sailed in 2001 on the RC Sovereign. We boarded early, and after the fire drill, grandson was in melt-down stage and desperately needed to nap. Daughter headed to cabin with him and I wandered down to a small bar. We had just cleared the 3-mile mark when I noticed a few Video Poker machines along the wall. Got a roll of quarters (yep, good old days) from the bartender and won $1,000 on a Royal Flush on my second pull. They paid me off in $100 bills, but I went to the Purser's Desk and exchanged them for $20's. Took all my patience, but once I thought nap time was enough, I went back to the cabin. Everyone was awake and daughter said "what have you been doing?" I will NEVER forget tossing fifty $20 bills up in the air all over the cabin and the look on her face. We had paid for our entire cruise, plus other extras, within the first two hours of the cruise.

Last October on the Magic, can't remember which day, playing a 3 coin 25cent machine hit a jackpot of a little over $3900. Played & drank in casino the rest of week for free, paid sign & sail with cash and bought my next cruise. Other cruises not so hot. ;) Won't talk about them

Too bad you couldn't have videoed her face.

Returned on 4/17/16 from a 10 day Med cruise on the NCL Epic. Day 2 of the cruise I was awake at 4 am and could not go back to sleep so I decided to head to the casino to play slots for a bit and not a soul in there except me. Decided to play the progressive Quick Hits with max at $3.00 a spin. Right off the bat the machine began to pay out and at $150 of credits I hit the bonus round which led to the top jackpot of $7,500 :) I have hit several jackpots from $1,200 - $3,000 on cruises in the past and this one was my biggest thus far.

Whoa!! [emoji33] That's so cool!! Interesting that it happened during the bonus round, too.

On a 'leaf peepers' cruise aboard QM2 four years ago I won, playing two separate $1.00 poker machines over the course of four days, enough money to pay for our balcony suite, all shore excursions, all beverages and tips (the tax from that came with the winnings was supplied by the US treasury at no charge).

"But wait! Their's more!' The luck didn't stop there.

We docked in Brooklyn, NY on October 29 about 10 hours before 'Super Storm Sandy' tried to drown NYC. The lucky ship QM2 left the harbor on her way back to England on calm seas - just hours before everything would get very ugly. I haven't won 'diddly' since then. Maybe this year?

Just back from the NCL Jewel....great week of video poker! I hit Aces Kicker on $1 for $2k, a 3 X $.25 Royal Flush for $3K, a 10 X $.25 Aces for another $2K. I also hit 3 other $.25 royal flushes for $1k each! They have 8 All Star machines, and we had about 20-25 people wanting to play, so had to get there early and camp out or lose it. :)

One week ago tonight on the Sunshine I hit on Gold Stacks penny slot machine for $9,187.06. It was a big thrill. I was spending 68 cents per spin. I guess it just shows that when they are ready to pop, the person sitting there reaps the benefits.

In 2009 on the Golden Princess I found 2 dealers blackjack dealers that when sitting at 3rd base would expose the corner of their hole card. Blackjack is an easy game when you know what the dealer has. You still need to have some luck as you can't hit when you know you are going to lose and can't make it obvious or they would have caught on. Throughout the 2 week cruise I won almost $8k and the only reason it wasn't more was the table limit was $300. I had everyone always looking at me when it was time for insurance. I would have to play stupid sometimes and not take insurance even when I knew I would lose so they didn't catch on.
