Suite cruise credits

We recently accepted an up sell offer for a suite. Will we receive 2 cruise credits, or only 1? When we were upgraded to a suite we received only 1. Just curious it will be an awesome trip either way,

I believe that with an upsell, you get the second cruise credit. With an upgrade you do not. You can check on Princess.com. It may show the extra.

The second cruise credit is awarded for spending the extra money needed to book a full suite so I understand why no credit is given for an free upgrade.

This is just speculation on my part-----Since I have never heard of partial cruise credits being awarded, an upsell to a full suite would either have a significant cost or Princess would be pretty desperate to free up the room you originally booked to award a full cruise credit.

You will get the second cruise credit, but you'll almost certainly have to call to get it.

We just went through this after an April transatlantic on the Crown. Had to call and ask for a Captain's Circle rep, because the rep who answered wasn't empowered to do it. But then, within minutes, we had our extra credit.
