A couple online cruise booking websites here in the U.S. have posted this one new Alaska itinerary for QE in June, 2019.

Jun 20 Vancouver

Jun 21 Cruise Inside Passage

Jun 22 Ketchikan

Jun 23 Tracy Arm / Juneau

Jun 24 Skagway

Jun 25 Icy Strait

Jun 26 Hubbard Glacier

Jun 27 Sitka

Jun 28 Cruising

Jun 29 Victoria

Jun 30 Vancouver

P.S. This looks pretty much the same as the previously announced QE Alaska itinerary for May 21-31, 2019. The only difference I see is that the order of some of the port calls is different in this new itinerary for June 20-30, 2019.

How interesting, I've just spoken to my personal cruise specialist at Carnival House ( UK) she tells me she's very surprised to hear this, as the Cunard official announcement is 'only available to preview/ book as from October 23/30th' ?

I was a bit surprised to see that new Alaska itinerary posted on a few websites yesterday. But then I suppose it's similar to the situation with the rest of the 2019 itineraries which were not formally announced by Cunard until September 5 but had been posted on those same websites around mid August. We still need to see the QE itineraries for May 31 to June 20, 2019 so Cunard may still be working to finalize those.

In the interest accuracy, for whatever reason the websites I found are not actually showing the 10 day voyage for Vancouver-Vancouver on June 20-30, 2019 as a separate voyage yet. What they are showing is a 13 day voyage for Vancouver-San Francisco (June 20-July 3, 2019), a 15 day voyage for Vancouver-Los Angeles (June 20-July 5, 2019), and a 49 day voyage for Vancouver-Southampton (June 20-August 8, 2019).

Regards,

John

I saw a voyage in June 2019 for the Elizabeth of which this is obviously part. It does Japan, Anchorage Vancouver, then does the Vancouver to Vancouver itinerary that you posted above. It is not currently available as a separate voyage, but I suspect that it will be. I cannot think of any reason why if one traveled from Japan to Alaska to Vancouver, why they would immediately sail back up the Alaska coast and then return to Vancouver?

More news on the subject in late October, I guess.

Hi, Bigmike911.

I think you may be referring to the QE voyage Q915 announced in March which begins in Yokohama on May 5 and ends in Vancouver on May 31 with an earlier stop in Vancouver on May 21. The Alaska/Canada portion of that itinerary looks like this.

May 15 Kodiak

May 16 Anchorage

May 17 Cruising

May 18 Juneau

May 19 Cruising

May 20 Cruise Inside Passage

May 21 Vancouver

May 22 Cruise Inside Passage

May 23 Tracy Arm / Juneau

May 24 Skagway

May 25 Hubbard Glacier

May 26 Icy Strait

May 27 Sitka

May 28 Ketchikan

May 29 Cruise Inside Passage

May 30 Victoria

May 31 Vancouver

I do not recall ever seeing the 10 day May 21-31 Vancouver-Vancouver segment offered anywhere yet as a separate voyage. That 10 day segment is listed under the Cruise Critic "Find a Cruise" results with the notation "We currently have no partners with this itinerary available". I agree it's inevitable that it eventually will be offered as a separate voyage. As you say, more should be revealed later this month when Cunard makes the official announcement about QE's 2019 Alaska voyages on October 23 (if not before).

What was revealed in August on other websites and then later pulled showed that QE would be doing four 10 day round trips from Vancouver on the following dates in 2019.

May 21-31

May 31-June 10

June 10-20

June 20-30

We already had the May 21-31 itinerary from the March announcement of voyage Q915 and as of yesterday it looks like we may have the details for the June 20-30 itinerary. What's left is confirmation of what QE will be doing from May 31 to June 20, 2019.

Regards,

John
