Princess Robes

Just had a thought. On the Regal, last week, we were reminded of the tiny Princess robes. I could barely close my robe and I am a 6 foot guy with a pretty average waist line. I would think that at least half the folks on our Regal cruise would have been unable to get their robes closed...unless Princess has some larger ones in their inventory.

Don't forget the lack of a staircase on Royal Princess! Imagine that! People had to use the elevator!!

All those thousands of people who were desperate to walk up and down the stairs (funny really as whenever we walked downstairs we rarely passed anyone else!)

Thank heavens they've built it now.

and don't get me started on the parmesean bread bowl debacle....;p

now, wait a minute. This is a real drama! How dare you make light and fun of the missing parmesan bowl?

P.S. Some CC poster said that it's not because the robes are actually small, it's because the obese gluttons want more than one entree and then complain about not fitting into the robes onboard Princess.

Just off the Caribbean. New robes in all the rooms fit wonderfully. Probably got new robes when they came out of drydock

Same here. The new waffel weave robes are quite large and long.

DH wears a XXL which fit with room to spare.

Way big on me ... but worked for my needs.

Oh boy. Here we go. Off to another tangent with responses of body shaming and it is my thyroid.

They call you on the chefs table and ask you if you want the wine, you say no and it’s suppose to be $15 cheaper, then they go ahead and charge the $15 and don’t take off.... also the ice cream ( really ice mile) sucks!

You folks just don't get it. In order to slim down the passengers (so they can close their robes) Princess discontinued the Parmesan bowls :).

lol. Honestly, you got it! The secret plan. Oh, and don't forget - no more gelato on coffee cards. That's another ploy to get us to lose weight. I never knew you could buy gelatos with coffee card punches and was looking forward to finally doing it on my upcoming cruise. And what do you know? this was cancelled.
