Viking Jupiter Float Out

Viking just posted photos on their Viking Rivers F B page of the Float Out. The godmother of the ship is Sissel Kyrkjebø, a Norwegian soprano.

Christening will be in June, 2019 in Oslo.

I guess the next announcement we hear will be for the keel-laying of number 7.

We’re on the Southern Atlantic crossing in November 2019 - great itinerary, and only 4 days crossing the Atlantic at it’s narrowest point between Africa and South America.

Christening will be in June, 2019 in Oslo.

Jupiter will be in Oslo twice in June of 2019. We are actually on one of those sailings. Does anybody know on which of those two days that the christening will take place?

No idea but I suggest following the press releases in Viking's Media Center. They may eventually give a date there.

Also, Viking has finally posted the Jupiter Float Out Video on FB "Viking River Cruises"
