Only after you have identified and collected your luggage from the arrivals hall !

You'll need to pass through UK customs. On the other side you'll meet up with a Cunard agent who will help you load your luggage onto transport to your next Cunard ship. Guest's are then free to either make their own way to the new cruise terminal or additional transport is also available.

Assuming you are referring to Southampton.

When you arrive at your new departure terminal you do not need to handle your luggage, this is taken care of and the next time you'll see it will be at your stateroom. ( just make sure your luggage has the 'correct new luggage labels' which will have been delivered to your stateroom a few days before) For check-in and boarding the same procedure is used, however, ( for those who have disembarked from one Cunard ship and are about to embark onto another) one will often be directed by the ground staff to check-in with those who have priority.

  • 3 weeks later...

When they transferred our luggage from Queen Victoria to QM2 after a World Cruise, they left one suitcase on the pier. We had no idea where it was for three weeks until it showed up at our home in Florida. Don’t leave anything you need in a suitcase you are depending on them to transfer.
