When you snorkel from the beach at Paradise Cove, how far away is the reef? Is there a current to contend with? Is the beach something young children could enjoy while some of the adults snorkel? We're 6 adults and 2 children . . .

Thanks for your help!

The reef is a bit of a swim out there, but if you're not good swimmers, then you can rent a kayak and paddle out instead. No current at all, great snorkeling water. Yes, kids can enjoy the beach, but whether you leave them unattended while you snorkel is up to you. It's small and safe, just you'll be out there a ways so you might want to run shifts.

Have a great time!
