One bar of soap provided by sink plus liquid soap dispenser. Ladder took up space in the closet. USB chargers in the two bedside lamps and one at the desk area by TV. also plug at both desk areas. hair dryer at desk near balcony. shelves behind door are awkward to reach. decent amount of hangers.

Ship - Escape

Deck - 14

Stateroom # - 14710

Stateroom Category – Balcony

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Could hear our neighbours talking loudly through the walls, also when their TV was loud. Sounds of the ship breaking through large waves were also obvious.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Great view from high up, looking forward you are looking through the support structure for the bridge. We could see the officers working on the bridge at times (they waved to our kids), so if you are in to that kind of thing it was neat. Still a great view.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal

Was wind a problem? - No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - No

Any other comments? - Cabin feels like a long way from most things. Food and drinks feel either very aft or very far down the elevators from this area of this ship (and they are). Still, a nice cabin and we enjoyed it. Just be prepared (and able) to walk distances.

Ship - Jade

Deck - 9

Stateroom # - 9002

Stateroom Category – SE Forward Suite

Starboard or Port Side – N/A – only view is forward

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes, very quite

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? – No

Balcony View (Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue.) –Amazing views 180 degrees. Sunset and sunrise are the best. It was the best view for the Panama Canal Cruise.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? – Oversized with 2 loungers, 2 chairs and table. You can look up to the bridge from the balcony, they can see part of your balcony. When sailing at night you are required to keep the blinds shut (or white lights off) while using the balcony so you don’t hinder the view of the bridge. The partitions to the forward balconies are at an angle so it is easy for your neighbors to see you. This didn't bother us at all.

Was wind a problem? – At times but it seemed to depend on which direction we were going. Not as much of an issue as we used the balcony quite a bit.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? – N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? – The forward cabins have double doors, the second one being a metal door for very rough sea protection. If the doors are left open, the air conditioner stops working.

Any other comments? - Our concierge was great - made up for the poor service from the butler.

Ship - Pearl

Deck - 9

Stateroom # - 9616

Stateroom Category – BA

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – yes , except at night till about 11-midnight - could hear and feel bass from I suppose the Atrium - -not sure where,

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - yes, with 9614

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – perfect location and view midship

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal size balcony - tiny table about 12 inches square and 2 chairs -- just wish that darn railing was not at eye level when sitting down:cool:

Was wind a problem? - no

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - n/a

Any specific problems with this cabin? - just VERY small compared to other ship balcony cabins -- but ample storage and more hangers than normal.

Any other comments? - great midship location between 2 elevator hallways. Loved being over O'Sheehan's for early more coffee to bring back to balcony (did not want to fool with inroom coffee pot). Would book this cabin location again. Only issue was hearing music till later at night since we went to bed early.

Stateroom # - 12106 Haven forward facing penthouse

Stateroom Category – H7

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Quiet Stateroom? – Very quiet

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - ?

Balcony View - Clear, no real obstructions. It is not a perfectly clear view to the extent of a normal balcony. There is an angle slightly enclosing the forward seat on the balcony. Great if 1 person wants shade and the other does not.

Balcony Size? - Small but adequate. We went up to the haven sundeck. Used the balcony for morning coffee, usually.

Was wind a problem? - No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? -

Any specific problems with this cabin? -

Any other comments? - It was great. So bigggg. So much storage space. Didn't use 1/2 of it.

Ship - NCL Escape

Deck - 11

Stateroom # - 11120

Stateroom Category – BF Balcony Forward

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Relatively. Heard neighbors through the wall once. Balcony was noisy, seemed to be lots of people around us used their balconies and dragging chairs on balconies which was quite loud.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - When looking straight down over the balcony you looked straight onto the balcony of the mini-suites with large balconies on Deck 8. Bummer for them I suppose.

Balcony Size? Normal

Was wind a problem? - No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - No

Any other comments? - Bed is next to balcony door which I liked. Good Cabin. Expect to do lots of walking, which you need to balance all the good food.

Ship - Escape

Deck - 12

Stateroom # - 12531

Stateroom Category – Studio

Starboard or Port Side - Interior Port

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Mostly quiet, however this room is next to a secondary exit to the studio area (the exit doors further from the stairs) so you occasionally heard that door banging a bit. But the bed is furthest away from that door so it wasn't bad

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Any specific problems with this cabin? - Toilet leaked on the first night, but it was taken care of and didn't pose an issue for the rest of the week

Ship - Breakaway

Deck - 15

Stateroom # - 15122

Stateroom Category – Haven, Courtyard Penthouse

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Very - this stateroom is near the stairs that go up to the Haven and the 'secret passage' hallway to the spa so we were a bit concerned about noise, but we had no issues at all other than occasionally hearing the neighbors slamming drawers shut the last night while they were packing.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Any specific problems with this cabin? - The door covering the minibar would not properly close so we rigged a fix by putting paper into it to block it closed. This was never fixed during the cruise although the butler did remark on it. We also had problems with the remote for the TV that were never addressed - but overall these were small issues.

Any other comments? - This was a great room location - quieter I think than the rooms on deck 16 right next to the Haven lounge and pool area, but so close to that staircase and spa that we were convenient to everything.

Ship - Sun

Deck - 8

Stateroom # - 8278

Stateroom Category – Aft Balcony

Starboard or Port Side - Aft (Starboard of center)

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes and no. You can hear the shows in the theatre (loud bass and drums) and when they practice in the afternoon. One night, they were either practising or partying until the wee hours of the morning - I think someone must have complained because it didn't happen again. Also some engine noise - especially when entering or leaving port. No noise from the hallway.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - Yes, but we didn't have both rooms

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Amazing rear view.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Felt larger because of the sloped side wall and sloped rail.

Was wind a problem? - No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - On a few days, yes.
