news on Taverna Lupula

Hello locals! In July we met the new owners of this great new craft beer bar- Taverna Lulpula. They were working so hard to make this unique place a tourist destination. Now that Irma has thrown the owners another curve. Please post any information you have on how this bar weathered the storm. We plan to be back there in March on Harmony OS.

I am following Taverna Lupulo on Facebook. The latest this week: they expected to open. There was an unfair curfew/temporary law allowing hotels to serve liquor/beer etc but not taverns/bars. to my understanding that has been lifted. Tavern owners felt the locals needed the local bars to gather and share information, encourage support for each other. If you go to old San Juan, please go to this bar and post how they have weathered the storm. new owners have been trying to get this craft beer bar on the path to popularity>
