Resort day passes? Viator crystal cave and shopping tour?

Hi Everyone,

We are going to Bermuda for the first time and are considering the Viator Crystal Caves, shopping and beach tour, has anyone done this? We only have 2 days in Bermuda and I’m not sure I want to do an all day tour. We really like booking resort day passes and saw the elbow beach resort pass but it doesn’t allow access to the pool. Has anyone done this, if so your thoughts? Do you know if any other resorts that offer day passes?

Thanks for the help.

There is a post from 2017 which you may find helpful titled Resort Day Passes.

As for visiting the caves, you don't need a cruise ship or private excursion. Just take the ferry to Hamilton or St George, and take a public bus or taxi to the caves, easy peasy. After the caves, take a bus or taxi to Hamilton for shopping. There is, also, shopping where your cruise ship will be docked. By doing this on your own, you can determine how much time to spend.

If not having a pool is a deal breaker, use the pool on the cruise ship which is already paid for, JMO.

It’s more expensive but you can also sometimes book Day rooms at resorts. Sometimes it’s at a discount (for not spending the night) but sometimes it’s for the full going rate. Obviously will allow you full access to all the resort offers. We did this twice- once at the Fairmont Southampton and once at the Rosewood Tucker’s Point. The Rosewood was on the other side of the island so we just spent the night off the ship that time. It was very nice.
