Free cruise from casino

Again I am missing something here.. I am 34 years old, it took me all year to save up $2000 p/p to go on the YC cabin trip in August on Seaside. You cant be serious you expect me to play through $3000 ($2.50 per point x 1200 points) are you kidding me? That is what my entire vacation is worth, no one would expect you to play $3000 just for 30% off I am sorry there is a mistake here.

I just mentioned that I have a budget of $100 per day on slots which to me is huge, and for anyone is huge in todays economy. So cruise ships understand this so based on that the tier should be somewhere around 500 points based on 2.50/1 or if it is 1/1 it should be 1000 points - max $1000 playthrough for 30% if it is $3000 not a single person in the casino is going to reach that because the cruise them selves cost so much just to get on board.

I think you're missing that the program isn't based on what's best for you and your budget.

I think my budget of 100$ per day for slots is very acceptable, most people don't even gamble. I am hoping to win every 2nd pull so if have to spend 100$ on 250$ worth of play through a day to earn 100 points ... even if I do this everyday all cruise that' only 700 points. I' have to play through 400$ a day on slots to qualify even for 30%?? You seriously don't see anything wrong with that ? No one is going to gamble through 400$ a day all day everyday unless they are a millionaire and those are a few per ship.

Like I said I am 34 and I am a perfect candidate for a free cruise the people who blow 500 on slots don' need a free cruise but I do. That is why msc needs to re consider the point allocation.

To get a free cruise apparently you need 9999 points which is about 25000$ play through. No one I repeat no one would reach this and if they say they do they are lying. Basic math the most expensive slot machine is 5$ per pull, in order to play through $25000 you will have to execute 700 pulls of 5$ per day on a standard 7 night cruise. That is insane amount considering most the vast majority of machines are 0.30 per pull and are penny slots up to 1$ per pull..

Who the hell plays 5$ per pull? It's infuriating that some old geezer on their 60th cruise is getting a free cruise for blowing money in the casino when young up and coming professionals like me at 34 years of age can benefit from a free cruise way more. Think about that.

All I can say I wow. Are we just a little self entitled?

WOW! Self entitled A-HOLE!

Holy ****! Mariner Boy is in for the Millennial butt ream.

Maybe, he doesn't understand that it is "Coin in". Not money lost.

To think, that you need to "Spend" $25,000.00, he is wrong.

But, many people actually DO come with that kind of bankroll.

I come with a MUCH smaller bankroll.

Enjoy and win

Safe sailing

There are at least two different programs to get free cruises. One is with the straight point like stated here, but there is also a program for the VIP cruises. This one isn't based off of straight points, but with some calculation on how much you spend combined with how much time you spend in the casino. We talked with the Casino Marketing Manager on our last free VIP casino cruise and he told us they have some secret formula for that. We have won two cruises now with VIP Casino Cruise program and we didn't hit the 9,999 points, but spent a lot of time in the casino. Hope this helps.

Take a screenshot of your certificate and send it to URCOMPED for another free cruise. They will match (and usually do better). After 25 comped NCL cruises we used URCOMPED and have sailed once on the Divina and twice on the Seaside for free! They are a great company and you will be amazed at what they offer. Tell them Tina and Jeff recommended them.

Safe sailing

Thanks for your advice, a friend of Mine also recommended URCOMPED before, have not tried yet because we get our comped cruises either thru NCL CAS directly or thru Ceasars Ent. this one is the first time from SANDS CASINO IN PA and 1st for us on MSC. the issue with this one is we do not have the certificate yet until june 9 that is the pick up date and that is the issue, we have travel plans for that weekend and won't be able to pick it up, so that is why i asked if anybody knows the phone number to call to make the reservation. Like i explained before, NCL Casinos At Sea, they do have the info on their system as soon of the land casinos send you the offers regardless if you have the certificate or not, but like I said is our first time with MSC so I don't know the actual phone number to call, I guess I should try MSC main line and find it out. thanks again.

MarinerBoy (emphasis on Boy) thinks he will win on every second pull playing slots. Toooooo funny!

And he's going to bet $100 a day.

And he thinks that's a lot.

And he thinks that will entitle him to a free cruise.

Better than that, he thinks he should get a comped cruise in Yacht Club!

I love everything in this post. It would be so enlightening to meet you on a ship sometime so I can soak up a bit more of your thoughts, views and observations about life. I sometimes feel that I have observed most of the possible human behaviors out there, but I sense you can add some aspects I haven't encountered.

I'm pretty sure this is tongue-in-cheek.

"For anyone, $100 per day is huge in today's economy". You know, the economy where the stock market is on a tear, unemployment in the US is at 3.8%, wages are increasing, etc.

MarinerBoy knows full-well doctors, lawyers, executives, successful salespeople, business owners, etc. all make sufficient incomes to afford this.

Heck I'm happy if I lose less than $1k / day. :loudcry:

So, I get the slot play points but does anyone know what the $ per point is for blackjack? And how is it calculated, ie; just on the original bet or on the average bet plus double downs and splits?

I believe the MSC points system is very fair, just off the Seaview a few weeks and had a great time. I thought the casino and staff were exceptional. If you are an average player its easy to bet through 25 k even with a 3 k bankroll. I brought 10 k cash and only played 4 nights and had about 15000 points. received the free cruise offer and sent it to your comped who got me upgraded to a balcony aurea with the 2 kids and the wife for less the 1k for April.

Had the Yacht club last time and will try and upgrade to this again if it becomes available.
