Participating in Teen Activities if turning 18 while onboard???

Recommended Posts

We have friends who have a son who will turn 18 on Day 4 of the cruise. He really likes the teen activities. I've searchand all the threads say that a child is considered the age when they board for the entire cruise. I'm just questioning 18 - I can't imagine the cruise line accepting liability for an "adult" in the teen lounge?????

What age you are upon boarding is the age they consider you to be for the ENTIRE cruise.....unless he plans to gamble in the casino upon his birthday, there's no reason he won't be allowed into the teen activities on this trip.

The call center in Guatemala said he is considered 17 for the entire cruise, so it has to be true - right??? Very odd, the supervisor said they don't have this in writing anywhere that I can read or print out - but they are very sure this information is correct.
