Mediterranean vs. Caribbean?

I remember hearing that the WiFi connection is better in the Caribbean rather than in the Mediterranean because most of the satellites are in the Caribbean (at least, for cruises).

Does that mean the WiFi on a Celebrity ship in the Mediterranean may not be as good as on a Caribbean cruise?

No. Done it many times both locations and never much noticed a difference. Even mid-Atlantic on a TA there is not a whole lot of degradation.

No noticeable differences either area.
