question about cabins on the Sapphire

We are looking at cabins on the Sapphire. We'd like a covered balcony so the Baja deck seems like a good choice; but there is only one cabin available left on Baja; B256. It is located just off the elevator and what looks like the center stairwell, with a door leading to the stairs directly across from the door of the cabin, and another door leading to the hallway just to the right of the door. Wondering if this is a less than desired location and maybe that's why it was the only cabin remaining? The category is BB.

Also have a question about the view from the balcony; I realize there are balconies below the baja deck; do they obstruct your view of the ocean?

You will be fine. I love being near the elevators. Never hear noise.

No, you will have a clear view of the ocean. Enjoy your cruise!

This is a nice cabin in a nice location. It has a 9' x 5' covered balcony. It is across from the forward staircase making it an easy walk 2 flights up to the Lido deck and 4 flights down to the promenade. The doors you see on the deck plans are fire doors. They are always open. You will not even notice them. They appear to be part of the walls. They close only in the case of a fire.

If you look straight down over the balcony railing you will see the balconies for cabins on decks 10 and 9 below. But, no one views the ocean and land areas by looking 90 degrees straight down. So yes, this cabin has fine views, just as nice as from any balcony on the ship.
