Twinboysmama Posted September 3, 2018 #51 Share Posted September 3, 2018 Thanks for the review FunFloridaLady, our family, a group of 15 is doing a 3 day cruise for thanksgiving. First time doing a 3 day, have done 5 and 7days before. How is the elegant cruise day? Are people actually dressing up for it since it's a short cruise
Cruisefanatic71 Posted September 3, 2018 #52 Share Posted September 3, 2018 Excellent question. I am also sailing this Thanksgiving with a group of 7 for the holiday and was wondering about elegant night also.
ZoeyVictoria Posted September 4, 2018 #53 Share Posted September 4, 2018 Thanks for the review FunFloridaLady, our family, a group of 15 is doing a 3 day cruise for thanksgiving. First time doing a 3 day, have done 5 and 7days before. How is the elegant cruise day? Are people actually dressing up for it since it's a short cruise I was on the 3-nighter August 16. I don’t usually pay attention to the way other people dress, but our table mates had stated they might not be there because they did not bring dressy clothing, so we sat and watched people arriving while waiting to see if our new friends would show up. I was surprised that so many people dressed up. Lots of untucked dress shirts on men (and young boys) paired with khaki pants and dresses on women. I saw only one man in shorts during the twenty minutes or so that we waited and watched. I think most people would be more inclined to dress up because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
