Thank you for the article. I got a little confused, though. The writer went to the lovely Christmas markets along the Danube, but the images are from shutterstock, so probably not necessarily from the places she visited either!? It is not clear what they depict, I think the first one is Nuremberg. I'd prefer captions. Quote: "The markets along the Rhine are some of the biggest, most traditional and prettiest -- Cologne, Nuremberg and Koblenz." Oops... she went to Nuremberg on the Pegnitz river, admittedly, the Main-Danube-Canal "straddles" Nuremberg.
