Buying Booze through Princess

When you buy the bottles via the princess website, are they delivered to your room? Thanks in advance!

They are not in the cabin when you board. You will have to call room service to have them delivered. There should be a voucher in the cabin.

So its safe to say i can make rum and coke in my room to be consumed in my room say before dinner?

Yes.

Remember the bottle size is usually 375ml.

Yes the bottle is half the size of a "normal" 750ml but the price is about what you would pay for the full sized bottle.

If I don't get the booze package I'll order several bottles of rum from Princess and make drinks in the room. It is a great option and keeps everyone happy. (no smuggling) Now if they only had a better rum selection

We ordered 2 bottles of whiskey and 2 bottles of vodka for the room on the last couple cruises (14 day and 15 day respectively). The first time on the Island, it was all brought in at once. More recently on the Star, they would only bring one bottle of each at the time and you had to call when you were ready for the next bottle. Guess they didn't want us flipping over the balconies.

I find that their prices are so expensive that it just discourages people from purchasing anything at all.
