Horses on the Beach

My son and I did horse-riding just outside Puerto Vallarta with Rancho El Charro, http://www.ranchoelcharro.com/ .

Really nice as you are riding in the jungle and crossing the river numerous times. You either just do the river/jungle part or you can go up the hill to see the city in the distance. We did both, but I would recommend the river/jungle route. Just depends if you are part of a larger tour group or just your OWN private group (as we were). Important to know is that you would need a taxi to take you to the pick-up point in a residential area. After the tour Pam, the ranch owner, will take you back into town. She dropped us at the cruise terminal and we really had a great time. Please just remember that ship time may NOT be the same as Puerto Vallarta time - we almost missed our appointment time for our tour as I did not realize the ship did not change their clocks... Luckily Pam had just left the pick-up point and came back for us. But really, an amazing tour.
