We've never been on an Alaskan Cruise. Going in June. Do people use the pool areas and Sanctuary on Alaskan cruises, or is it too cold?

Yes and no. Very much depends on the westher during your specific cruise - which can be quite different from the cruise before yours or after yours.

Our last Alaska cruise, temps were in the 80s every day except Ketchikan. . A few of us had suits and were in the pools and hot tubs during scenic cruising and such while others were bundled to the nines cuz they hadn't come with layers and options...

Best advice, take the suit. At the least, hot tubs may be an option... Depending on when you're sailing, it may or may not be hot enough to enjoy the cold pools...
