Just booked room 4043 on the Koningsdam

I just booked room 4043 on the Koningsdam. I would like to know something about the layout. The rooms are parallel instead of the normal configuration of long and narrow.

There are 8 cabins just like this, 4043, 4045, 4044, 4046, 5053, 5051, 5048 and 5050.

Does anyone have a picture of it. I searched thru out the internet and could not find one.

We had a cruise in Feb of 2016 in 5051. We loved it! The balcony was Humongous. We liked the layout of the room. There was a window view, in addition to the normal glass door balcony view. I think you will be pleased.

We have booked 4045 for a cruise next year. Looking at the deck plan it appears 4045 has a long, narrow verandah, while 4043 has a wider, angled one, but it is cut in half to provide a small verandah for the neighbouring stateroom.

You would think that with a huge balcony like 5048 they would give you a real table and not that dinky little thing. :p

Nothing better than eating breakfast on the balcony.

We stayed in 5048 last year. The room size was the same if not larger than a vista suite. Very enjoyable. 4043 should be the same layout. Just obstructed with life boats just below the verandah

Sorry, when do you sale or have you already? I too just booked this room and was nervous as sailing is pretty much full so wonder why this one is still available. Lol
