Good for you anyway. How did you find out your cash went from 300 to 50??

We saw the feb 5 th cruise you are on as option, but we had already booked the 14 day on the Caribbean Princess sailing on February 19th at a great rate so we are staying with that one and just added the nov. 5th.

I called to confirm the procedure to claim the casino cash and was told that the amount was only $25. I began to protest and opened the e-mail I received with the link to the brochure. As soon as I opened the e-mail, I saw that it clearly stated $25. When I opened the brochure in the link, it stated $300 but that is just a generic document. It is not targeted to me with my name and CC number whereas the e-mail is targeted to me. I had misread the information from the beginning. It was a let down but, like I said, at least I got $25.

Ended up using my Palazzo cruise certificate for an already booked cruise next spring by cancelling and rebooking (rebooked to a nicer interior) Between actually winning at the tables and the cruise savings, I am ahead several grand. It is ALL good.

Although miles away I have received a combined Grazie casino match play/Hotel /cruise offer.

Can you please tell me on this casino cert, ,if you have to pay a pp fee along with port fees and taxes?

My first casino offer there was no fee with Penn National/Carnival

My current 2017 booking on NCL there was a $250 pp fee plus port fees and taxes ..Approx $870 for 2 in large oceanview cabin...

Thanks,

JT

Does anyone by chance know how many points one needs for a bounceback cruise offer for a 5 day cruise on princess? We are booked for this October on a free cruise with $800 casino cash and am wondering if I should get an offer to book our next one for January or I should use my free inside from Tropicana casino and upgrade to a balcony and cruise Carnival .I guess I should call carnival too and see what we'll qualify for comp wise as well

Not sure if this is what youre asking...... but my Last Princess cruise I earned over 8,000 points in casino onboard. This gave me an Inside Cruise for a week, yada...... Princess only gives you about a Month to book it.

But approx a year to use it.

To be honest, I thought that Casino play should have been worth better cabin? oh well.

Were using it on another Calif Coastal in Oct.

First time I booked what I was given..... INSIDE. ha

Figure if I get offered a cheap upgrade?

Then we'll move to another cabin.

But I'm kinda Over paying upgrades for cabins if I don't have to.:p

This is sort of what I was looking for.On Carnival and all cruiselines I'm sure they have a criteria and I can't remember it. Sort of like over 5000 points on a 5 day cruise gets you a free cruise and 7000 on a 7 day and so on.I was hoping to find out for a 5 day how many points we needed. Thanks for the reply :)

Got $650 in casino cash for next cruise (but no free cabin) from this last cruise. And another Sands offer for a free cruise if I go Nov 3-13. Had to say no. So many cruise opportunities, so little time!

My friend got $350 towards a Princess cruise from Casino play on the ship,

vs. mine was Comp Inside. Friend didn't play as much as me.

As far as Ven/Palz cruise/stay offer? I will go retrieve another one.....

Basically, will Check in & get the freebie Inside cruise.

(NOT do all the play to upgrade).

I was going to Pass, but were already in town for SEMA, staying next door at Harr.

I got another offer from Venetian/Palazzo to come get a Princess cruise. We haven't taken the one I booked from the last Grazie offer but I couldn't resist since we ended up booking such an amazing cruise for peanuts. Luckily I love Vegas and now I sure hope I like Princess :D

We just got back from a wonderful Calif Coastal on Grand out of SF.

I hit a royal Prog in the casino, which was great. My first one I think, on

Princess. and I did NOT receive a W2G.

Casino cashier said they would put one in our box the last night, but it

did Not arrive.

I played enough to get a $450 credit on future cruise.....but thats Less than

the free Interiors I usually get. Soooo....

We had such a good cruise otherwise....... I head to SEMA tomorrow.

And yes, will be staying at Palazzo for another cruise voucher pickup. lol

I just booked my cruise with my second certificate from Palazzo. What a pleasure it is to deal with Princess after talking to Celebrity earlier in the day. I am thrilled with both of our scheduled Princess cruises, and simply amazed at how little out pocket they are costing.

If cruising Princess is as good as the booking experience has been we are in for a treat :p

Just got off the Ruby 7-day cruise, where I had over 9,500 points. The only thing I got was a plate of chocolate covered strawberries. No casino cash for next cruise, and certainly no free cruise from Princess. It was a free cruise from Station Casinos in Las Vegas and wondering if that's why I didn't get anything from Princess.

That doesn't sound right. Mine was Stations or Venetican casino offers too.

With that kind of play, you should have gotten Something! Like free insides.

I played less last time, and still got $450 towards next cruise.

(But since I already get freebies, the $450 is wasted.)

I would call the Princess casinos and inquire.

Perhaps they will Mail you something.

But the Casino onboard SHOULD have given you something in your

cabin on the last night.

I was on the Grand Princess Hawaii sailing (10/29-11/23) and received one of their "come back" offers. I had received a card from Princess offering this cruise 'comp'd' as a VIP cruise with drink card, special drawings, cocktail party, etc. Basically same as Carnival's Premier cruises. Hadn't sailed on Princess for three years but had been on Carnival several times. The Carnival Corp lines share casino services so guess this was a cross over promo.

Anyway it was a great cruise and the VIP host - Giancarlo was terrific. Gambled a lot and ended up with lots of points. The come back offer was for free cruise and cash. It also stated if you already have a cruise booked, contact them and they will try to extend their best offer.

I did that and they are basically offering the cash value of the come back (cabin + cash offer) as casino cash on the future cruise I have booked. So I'll pay off my future cruise as normal, which was the three for free promo and when the casino opens will go get lots of cash!

I think Princess is trying to grow their casino business and they've just started the 'come back' program. Some of their casino hosts may not be as into it as others. If you had higher points (7000+ on a 7 day) and didn't get any sort of offer, you might want to email or call casino services and find out of there's anything they can offer you.

Sailed with Princess in November and with the 13,000 points I earned, I received a free oceanview cabin that could be used for Caribbean, Mexico and Alaska sailings. I sailed again in February and earned another 26,000 points and the letter I received on the last night was for a free oceanview for Caribbean and Mexico sailings AND it did not include Alaska. Because you have to sail by September with this offer it was basically useless to me because they stop sailing to these locations mid April. I called Princess and they advised me to send an email to see if that was the correct offer and the response I got was ridiculous. To have earned over double the points and receive a worse offer makes no sense. In addition, there was someone else on my February cruise that only earned 5000 points and they receive a free cruise plus $1500 casino credit. I spent quite a bit of time in the ship casino and it was by far the worst payout I've seen. No one was winning. Based on these experiences, I won't spend another $ in any Princess casino.

This was their response to my question about my February offer:

We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with your Come Back and Sail offer. We cannot disclose the criteria needed to qualify a specific cabin type. However, we can confirm that you received the correct offer at this time.

We gamble very often here in Atlantic City and I agree Princess has terrible payouts. They seem alittle bit better than Carnival with casino cash though. Our last Casino cruise on Princess it was basically free to cruise because of Cashback but we got crushed in the casino !! No matter what slots we played we couldn't win. That was a $10000 free cruise and funniest part we didn't get a bounce back offer :)

I've come to the conclusion, to Heck with what Princess casino gives you after playing in them.

I had good luck in the last P. casino, but thought my return offer was Weak, for my amount of play.

I do better getting a pickup freebie Princess voucher from Stations or Venetian, than what the P. ship gives.

It seems since I mainly play NCL or Princess, between the two, I definately get better bounceback offers

from NCL Ship casinos, than Princess.

Hence, play what you want in Princess casino. But don't rely on the P. Ships casino return offers.

I agree. Just got off both Carnival Vista and Regal Princess. Same level of play. Lost a tad more on Carnival. Free interior cabin offer from Carnival. $400 casino cash from Princess. Got free drinks on night 2 on Carnival. Never got them on Princess (this was my freebie Venetian cruise). Lack of parity makes no sense. But. Both cruises were terrific!

muggo, you are talking about a different casino comp. The kind you get at a casino NOT on the ship.

I'm talking about the SHIPS casino....

" I earned enough points in the Crowns casino for a free upcoming cruise.

Its for 2, Inside cabin, sailing thru Oct. 22."

Hi there,

I have won 9 cruises from the Princess casinos! Most are 10 days, but last year I won two 15 days (did a Mediterranean and TA). The "Global Casino" which is the Carnival company's Casino management for all their lines has tightened up their requirements as of Feb 2017. Now it is much harder to win a long cruise, and they don't add in casino money, which they used to do. Still.....I haven't paid for a cruise in 2 years!!!
