:confused: Hi All. Asking for some suggestions on hotels that have parking for your vehicle while on cruise and shuttles to take you to and from port. Trying to keep it at a reasonable price if possible. Do not need anything super fancy. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone!! :o

We've used Springhill Suites in Dania Beach before with good results.

It would help to know the date needed and what your budget is. The closer you stay to the port during peak months, the higher the cost.

Some prefer paying for port parking and staying an hour or more away the night before for a low hotel rate. The convenience of having your car steps from the terminal is a big plus.

We have done park and cruise packages for cruising from Port Everglades at the following:

(2010) Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport North Cruise Port - booked directly with hotel

(2014) Fairfield Inn and Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port - booked through hotelnparking.com

(2015) Cambria Inn and Suites Fort Lauderdale, Airport South and Cruise Port - booked through hotelnparking.com

(2016) LaQuinta Inn and Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport - booked directly with hotel

All of the above were fine. Cambria imo was the nicest, but would use any of them again.

booked for 2017 - Hilton Garden Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport - Cruise Port - booked directly with the hotel

If a "quick getaway" to get back on the road after your cruise is important, then parking at the port might appeal to you. We prefer not to have to drive in the cruise port area as we find that stressful, so we like the park and cruise packages. Our first several times cruising from Fort Lauderdale/Miami, we stayed the night before the cruise in the Kissimmee area and then drove the rest of the way the morning of the cruise and parked at the port. We much prefer, when possible, to arrive the night before and use a park and cruise package.

In addition to the sunny site suggested above, two additional sources are:

http://www.parksleepfly.com

http://www.stay123.com

Your other option is to stay somewhere cheap outside of the FLL area, either north on 95 or even Orlando (only about 3 hours away and offers 1000's of hotels in every price range), and then park at the port - convenient and easy!

Good luck! :)

We have driven to Ft. Lauderdale for a cruise twice and both times we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Lauderdale Airport - Cruiseport at 180 SW 18th Avenue, Dania, Florida, 33004, USA.

We used their Park n Cruise Package so we could leave our car there while we cruised. The package included one night at the hotel, buffet breakfast for 2, complimentary parking and roundtrip transfers to/from Port Everglades . I don't remember the rate for the package but I just did a search for August 18, 2016 and the rate is $216.45 including tax.

It was about 15 minutes in the shuttle to the port. Our car didn't seem to suffer any while we left it at the hotel.

We will probably do this again next time we sail.

Hope this is helpful.

Is this still an active thread?I need suggestions for Ft Lauderdale hotels that allow parking while on cruise.

If you do not find a hotel to provide parking use Park and Go. They take you to the port after you drop your vehicle and pick you up after to return to your vehicle. They even gave us a bottle of water for the road! Hehe. Book online and it is less expensive. Have used them numerous times with no problems.
