We are going to take our first Oceania cruise and I need some help picking a cabin. We would like an A1 cabin on the Riveria. Are there any problem cabins? Obstructions? Which are your favorite cabins? We were recommended to choose one on the starboard side for our cruise. Thank you for your help.

It’s nice to be near the concierge lounge and steps and laundry room. I think they are A2 cabins though.

If you are prone to the motion of the ocean & the results I would not choose one too far forward

I like to be mid or aft ..I do not suffer too much with the motion but I am not taking a chance

I cannot think of any problems other than where the big spotlight is under the bridge bit I think it was a PH

Check the deck below the cabins you are interested in, and the deck above.

If you see a square it is a connecting cabin which is fine if you have other family siling with you, but if not I steer away from connecting cabins.

How close are the elevators to your cabin.
